Operation get Messi a penalty again!

Don’t understand what Livakovic is supposed to do there.

If his right leg stays put, I think he's fine, but most refs are giving that.

Still absurd that Kovacic is booked before an Argentinian for fouling him though. He should've drawn 2-3 yellows.

Not a pen? :D

Got took out, doesn’t matter if he couldn’t move, still fouled him.

We're talking about a goalkeeper in his own box. Like I'm genuinely trying to figure this out.

Livaković is in that exact spot a few seconds behind Alvarez, what is he supposed to do, move out of the way? He has the position established, if he dove for the ball and took him out, it's a pen, but Alveraze just smashes into him.

But nothing unexpected, always the same against bigger nations, robbed for countless times.

It's a clear pen. Harsh on the keeper (and yellow is daft) but it's a foul. If you knock the ball past a player in the middle of the pitch and then run him to him it's given as a foul. I don't get the moaning here.

But it's not a player, it's a goalkeeper.

Reach the ball first?

And when the Argentina player gets there a millisecond before him he allows him to pass through his with the power of osmosis? He made no move towards Alavarez, very very harsh for me.

Not sure why so many are confused that's penalty. He's come flying out and got nowhere near the ball. Yeah, he stops himself but that's always getting given as a foul.

All part of Croatia's gameplan anyway, they love going behind :D

 takes the man out

Is standing in your spot and someone smashing into you equal to taking him out?

So many fouls and even penalties are given like that, it's just ridiculous.

Anyhow, Argentina gave us the ball and since our attack is completely impotent, it had to happen sooner or later. Even if it wasn't a penalty, as soon as Lovren steps up, it's a calamity, he gave up a 1v1 chance.

Still, Orsato would've made sure they win it.

Argentina with the momentum now, this has 4-0 or something all over it.
