BnadnerB
With release ticking down to just over 4 weeks remaining now I'm guessing people are going through the rituals of choosing a team with whom to start with, I'm just wondering simply who you'll be taking charge of this year... Will it be your local team for the love of it, or one of the massive clubs because you support them? West Ham interest me because of the impending Olympic stadium move but also the fall of the two Milan teams make them attractive offers, but as an Arsenal fan they are always the temptation! Fire ahead...
gj170
Probably going to start with Gladbach, had good saves over the year with them. Other than that, Leeds, my team.
Kuldaniss
I'm actually gonna start a network game with a friend and play Inter and Milan, try to get them back to the top. As for my solo game, I'll probably just start unemployed at start and try tactics out
kingjericho
Long term save with a small team, maybe from a small nation.
TheBigBoss
Arsenal (favourite team) on the beta version and probably Swansea or Schalke when the full one comes out
FM_Grasshopper
With release ticking down to just over 4 weeks remaining now I'm guessing people are going through the rituals of choosing a team with whom to start with, I'm just wondering simply who you'll be taking charge of this year...Will it be your local team for the love of it, or one of the massive clubs because you support them? West Ham interest me because of the impending Olympic stadium move but also the fall of the two Milan teams make them attractive offers, but as an Arsenal fan they are always the temptation! Fire ahead... I went 'all in' and created a website, blog and twitter feed. I even created a whole back-story to my manager incl. failed playing career. Please call the men in white coats! My wife thinks I am well and truly lost now.
Mr U Rosler
Once i've a solid set of tactics i'll be doing the youth academy challenge. Take a previously unplayable club as far as you can using only players produced from your own academy. Only made it from Conference South to League 1 on fm15. Unfinished business. Melroseby
Will eventually go my team Liverpool, but enjoying a save on FM15 in the German leagues, Magdeburg/Mainz, so will probably go back there to start with
stevemc
Always start with e team I support, Manchester Untied, whilst I get my head around the game. Then usually drop down a league or two and bring a team up.
Bradz FM
No idea what to do this year. Going to try stay away from my usual Man Utd, Liverpool, Leeds, Southampton saves if I can. Maybe Torino
gunner86
I'll be starting with Arsenal, same as always and see how that goes. Some years I get engrossed and do pretty much 1 save, some years I have loads of saves. All reliant on getting a computer that works of course as my laptop has died
ForeverARed8
As always I will start a save with Liverpool and get them back to their glory days. I should really try playing the lower leagues though, and bring the club up the the premier league and eventually win the CL.
mrw072
I'll probably start in Ligue 2 in France. Probably at one of the bigger teams who have fallen on hard times. So more than likely Auxerre, or Lens as I've seen them play before. I'll choose the one with the lower expectations as it'll be more of an achievement if I can (hopefully) get them promoted. Lobaeux4
I'll do like I did in FM2015, takeover at Viking FK and see where my fortunes lie.
suba
Bringing Parma back to Serie A will definitely be on the to do list
oneronaldo
One journeyman save focused on sweeping up all the countries in Europe (with more attention towards the Hero achievements). Another yearly Manchester United save, because while I think LvG is a superb coach and all, his playing style bores me to death. Will attempt to see if I can bring some Jurgen Klopp-style heavy metal football to Manchester.
BenKenobiOne
My plan is try and get A.C. Pavia to Serie A for the first time
Artin
As always, use the editor to put Messi and Ronaldo on Bayern and go undefeated for the next 8 or 10 years.
daylight
Undecided if I will buy it just now, I have a good save going in FM15 that I am enjoying. If I do buy it, straight to the make a club, lowest league in England, my son as the star striker with me as the AMC, hell maybe even stick my wife or daughter in the goal!
mrdanbartlett
I've just done a save in Fm15 where I made a rule for England, Italty, Spain, Germany and France that they couldn't have any foreign players, it's been excellent so far (start of 3rd season now). I think I'll expand on this for FM16 and do it for ALL leagues and also see if I can change it so a player must be born in the country. It will be really interesting to see how it pans out for the international teams, the CL and the league reps.
Ronaldo Beckham
Could you possibly post that as a file Dan so I can have a go at it please.
steff91
Im going to do a nordic/scandinavian or a eastern european save i think, start off unemployed and see where i end up.Something ive never done really fancy something a bit diffrent this time round. gooner4ever
I think I'm going to manage Arsenal.
Thunder88
If the Milan board are realistic and want a top 4 finish then i'll definitely be trying them
Pompey1978
Been thinking about this. I fancy having a good career save in Germany, starting in the second tier. I have a bizarre hankering to make Truro a regional powerhouse and bring Premiership football to the UK's southernmost city.
SnUrF
as I stated in this thread already going with QPR just like the ten last years. -SnUrF
steff91
If the Milan board are realistic and want a top 4 finish then i'll definitely be trying them Milan have been in the back of my mind too funnily enough..
SMV90
I will probably do my usual thing of turning Shrewsbury Town in to a footballing empire. And, if possible, me and my friend will do a network save on the side.
One
Fenerbahce will be a good one with the inclusion of Van Persie, Nani, Simon Kjaer, and more. Plus they recently signed a lot of sponsorship deals so they should have a nice sum of money to play with too.
Just-Wool
Unemployed, used to play for England. Go from there.
Curly Claret
I think Dan's idea of restricting players of a certain league to that leagues nationality is inspirational!! However in response to the thread, the obvious answer is to take charge of the best team on the game, Burnley!
Padders
Youth Challenge for me Never completed it. Done Dafuge's Challenge on every version since FM2010. Determined to complete Youth Challenge
Jimbokav1971
I'm going to have to holiday for a bit to get a certain club promoted in a big structure and from then on I will be doing a Youth Only save and just sticking with it.
chestermike
Chester until I get bored of it. Then ill globehop, maybe giving myself some tactics challenges and the likes along the way.
Marius_R
I start with a big club (usually Inter) until I get a grip on the tactical side, and then I start a new game with either a mid-table team, a struggling team or one that hasn`t won anything in ages in one of the top five leagues (mostly Italy, Spain or Germany), and I play that until the next FM release. Now I`m in my 6th season at Hamburg SV.
FifaBing
Think I'll start with a lower league team this go around, or maybe a lesser Prem side, like Newcastle, Norwich, or something. I usually start with my typical Man Utd but think I'll change it up this go around.
Sussex Hammer
Probably not buying this years incarnation at least until I see the feedback on the game and patches etc. If defending is as bad as it is in FM15 I'll probably pass.
QWERTYOP
I'd been leaning towards Stoke given their exciting signings, but I'm now leaning towards my local team and the team I support - Bury. Some great signings in the summer & we've just signed Chris Eagles who is FAR too good for league 1. Plus we now train at Carrington - Manchester City's recently vacated training complex & surely one of the best training facilities in the country. So that will be interesting. P.S Whoever keeps telling S.I that Nicky Ajose is a club icon is royally taking the pee out of you, guys. Just in case anyone who can do anything about that in the game happens to be reading... samrnpage
For me the only way to enjoy FM is to start unemployed on lowest past XP and Badges and try and become the best in the world after 20+ years. Journeyman saves are the best.
QuincyOwusu-Abeyie
Will have a journeyman save and then when EEE comes out I'll have a Wingate and Finchley save where I attempt to take them to the best team in the world

vance77
Think I'll start in the Conference North, either using the 'create a club' feature to create a local semi-pro team, or put Man United in there but without any of their first-team players. LeedsUnitedFan2
For me, the first game will probably be Leeds until Cellino sacks me! My ultimate aim I've set myself for FM16 is to win every league and cup (not all in the same save - my PC wouldn't handle it and I've picked up a cheap tablet that'll run FMT better than Full-fat FM) The plan is to have "regional" saves, so UK & Ireland, Scandinavia, Eastern Europe etc, all contributing to the ambitious overall target EDIT - I'll start unemployed in each save, except British Isles, where I'l probably be unemployed after 10-12 games anyway
Jimbokav1971
I used to play for them and still have connections with them Ah cool. I come from that neck of the woods and used to play for the egg-chasers on the other side of the stand, (back in the day).

luka_zg
Downloaded fresh facepack and logopack. Decided the 1st save will be Italian Serie A. The club will be either Napoli or Lazio. Haven't decided yet. Waiting impatiently for next Thursday..
