5 hours of my shift to go. Someone update me.

I have work today. A short 2pm-7pm shift. If the FM Gods smile down upon us, when I check my phone anytime between 4pm and 7pm, I will hopefully read that you’re all an hour or two into your beta saves and I’ll be joining you all around 8pm when I am home.

When I said this yesterday about the gaming being polished and it being concerning it wasn’t released, I had someone call me out. I hope they’re less salty today.

As far I am aware, the Steam refund policy is only applicable if you have played a game for less than two hours. So, you must have not done much in said solid week of playing the beta.

It’s either Monday 23rd or Thursday 26th. As much as I want it today, tomorrow, enough people have tried to undermine Miles by giving their own release date. As such, through pure spite, we have a week to wait.

I think it’s more just self-inflicted frustration. We’re building the hype up so much, becoming so expectant and then when the beta doesn’t drop, there’s a lot of negative energy that needs releasing.

I did a bunch of games to have over 1.5 goals. You could probably say - and I’d be inclined to agree - that it was stupid of me to assume the two powerhouses that are Andorra U21s and Faroe Islands U21s would have over 1.5 goals. What annoys me more was a couple of games I had on there, the odds of them having over 1.5 goals were worse than the game that actually let me down.

I am a very angry man. One result away from a cheeky £200. If we’re not meant to post anything related to gambling, then a mod can feel free to edit/delete the comment. The pain of no beta added in with the pain of that bet. A lot of pain.

Because we probably are with how long it’s taking. For a game that’s supposedly “polished” it is concerning.

Another day lost in which they could have had a significant amount of players playing, finding any bugs and or issues. I feel like you’d want as many people testing your game ahead of its release, but maybe that’s just me.

Honestly, I am just kinda wishing someone popped in the thread at like 4pm, just let us know “not today” and then I could go about my day with peace of mind. The waiting and not knowing is both all part of the fun but also anguish and torture.

8pm is the cut-off time for me. If we have nothing by then, I will reside to my quarters for the evening and be sad.
