I think you've used my original score for the total when you upped me to 11 points for the first round. So should be on 13 total score.
You're right GB. Many apologies - I changed the table on the forum after the last round but forgot to update the offline master copy. I will make the changes tomorrow.

Need a VAR review here, I should have got 2 points and not 1 point. Only got one outcome correct out of twelve but at least I napped it.
I mean clearly I’m still bottom either way.
VAR had a good look and I was called to the monitor to check but all claims for an extra point were waived away.

This is big boys prediction league lads. Naps only score double for correct scoreline, not correct result - harsh but consistent.

Hi everyone.
As we collapse exhausted and debilitated, desperately seeking the assistance of Fessona and Somnus while struggling to stay awake through some of the drab and tedious excuses for entertainment that were on offer, like Ruben's massacre of the innocents, just as we felt we cannot go on, the second round matches are complete.
There were a lot of surprise scores and nobody scored well on the Friday and Saturday results. The England Scotland game, the Spain draw with Poland and the France draw with Hungary scored particularly badly and unsurprisingly nobody correctly predicted the Portugal Germany score. Almost all the scoring was contained in the first two days of fixtures and as a consequence the scores for this round were, generally speaking, much lower than the first round.
There were a small number of extraordinary scores nevertheless and Razzler led the way with a blockbusting 17 points, which was assisted by his first nap. As a result he climbs an astonishing eleven places to second place. Av3ry with 15 points also defied the lower scoring trend and jumped an even more impressive 17 places to finish 7th. Other big scorers included (cough) me (cough), JJ, Lucas, Scott, Trueblue (with a very creditable 12 points), Henrik, Orzelek and the old goat southcoastred. Very well done to all of them for pulling out decent results.
At the top, we have a new leader and Hazzaj takes over from DJ as our new beloved leader and he posted a great score with 11, also assisted by his second nap. Overall there were only three naps this round, Hazzaj, Razzler and me.
As a consequence of Hazzaj's move to top spot, our previous leader ("he is not to be saluted, he is not longer in charge") DJ slips to fourth with a poor but much copied, score of seven. Phil and Pompey both fall a place but recorded decent scores of nine apiece. Craig drops two places again despite a decent score and Lucas climbs two with 10 points to complete the top ten.
Phenompen slips out of the top ten along with Rebs and Woopy D, who had a bit of a nightmare (so did lots of others!) scoring four points. Scott moves up a very decent nine places and Henrik moves up 12 places. Darius moves down one place to 16th and Trueblue moved up a whopping 18 places - that's how to do it.
The upward movers had a big impact on the mid-table positions - CFuller was caught out with a poor score and fell an agonising 10 places - we feel for you C, Reddiablo and GunMan fall down the table more severely than they would have liked, eight and six places respectively. Jaggie and Orzelek buck the trend in mid-table, both recording good scores and rising nine and 11 places.
Moving to the uncomfortable end of the table, amid the general carnage, Oriole (down six places), Youreds (down five) McBB (down five), Timma (down five), Wolfie (down two) and Oche (down two places) all record poor-ish scores to put them in danger of being sucked into those places in the table you don't go alone at night.
The old git, Southcoastred roused himself from his daytime slumbers, wearily pulled the old tired cardie over his shoulders, slipped on the disintegrating slippers, shuffled downstairs and with a handful of Werther's Originals, managed to stay awake long enough to liquidise his lunch so he could sup it in a straw and posted a decent score, rising eight positions.
In the sump of the finely-honed engine that is the prediction league, it was hard to see any daylight emerging from the scores. Daniel slipped one place, Dale moved up one while Muttley fell a calamitous 15 places (I know!). In contrast, Constantine fell a respectable two places, AM drops one position, Decapitated nearly rallied but was just short, falling two places, Aye Carambau fell six places and The Golden Boy almost suffered a Muttley-esque disaster, falling a disastrous nine places.
At the very bottom (must we?), VP stayed second bottom and poor old Rob scored only one point to remain rooted at the bottom. Still, he is getting used to it by now.

I can't believe the improvement in Grant Handley. We used to call him bomb scare Handley but he has been outstanding in the last few games.

Did anyone watch the ITV coverage? Lee Dixon claiming McGinn was basically knackered after 20 mins and wouldn’t last. He literally plays week in week out in the EPL. Acting like he was some sort of unfit pub player who couldn’t handle the better boys
Lee Dixon is terrible and he doesn't hide his dislike for Scotland. When we drew with the Netherlands last month, we switched over for the rest of the England game where he was co-commentator. The commentator said that the Netherlands had scored a late equaliser. He said "good. I can't pretend to be disappointed by that".

Hi everyone, Final group game matches start on Sunday. Each game in each group will kick off at the same time. Things can change dramatically in these final games as those countries already through play other squad members, those with no chance throw caution to the wind and those still in with a chance try harder.
The scoring is the same as before - DON'T FORGET your nap!! Predictions submitted after the kick off time will not be accepted.
Good luck everyone.

Good morning everyone. I know we are all exhausted by the football-fest that has been laid before us like Bellini's Feast of the Gods and gorged ourselves with the very fruit of football life (ok, not so much Sweden or Ukraine, or Wales, or Russia or...). The first games have been played and we have chosen our favourites and willed them to victory, or at least to the limit of our own predictions.
The Belgium and Italy wins were heavily subscribed and almost everyone managed to predict them both, similarly with Portugal - just about everyone had a win for them. The UK home nation teams predictions did less well with no consistency and scores and results all over the place. I think there was a lot of reverse psychology in some of the predictions.
Unsurprisingly, nobody predicted the Slovakia win against Poland or the Finland win against Denmark but I think the circumstances make that excusable and we are are all just relived at the outcome for Erikson rather than the score.
Nobody predicted the Spain Sweden goalless draw, although a small number picked up points for predicting a draw.
The table is listed below from the first round matches. Very well done to DJ, who leads the way with a whopping 16 points and becomes our beloved leader who must be obeyed in all things predictional. A great score and helped by his first nap. There were six naps in total from DJ, Hazzaj, JJ, Borophil, Whoopy and CFuller and what a difference it has made - the six naps make up six of the top nine positions. Which means Pompeyboyz, The Golden Boy and Craig, who make up the other three positions in the top nine have done extraordinarily well to make the scores they did without naps - remember - naps bring their own rewards.
Pushing them close are phenompenhandy, Rebs, Reddiablo, Lucas and Razzler.
In mid table, GunmaN1905, Darius1998, me, Oriole, Muttley, You Reds, McBB, Scott and Timma wait for a good round to propel them upwards and put pressure on the leaders, while towards the bottom of the table, Av3ry, Wolfie, Oche, Henrik, Daniel, Constantine, Jaggie, Carambau, Dale, Orzelek and AM will be hoping not to slip any further towards the bottom.
In relegation trouble, are Trueblue.85, Decapitated and the old git, Southcoastred who are spared the bottom place due to the performance of VP. and Rob. Bad luck Rob but I think we are beginning to see a pattern here!
There is still a long way to go and a lot of points to play for, so everyone still has a chance...and don't forget your naps!

Yeah 3rd is still on, its tough, cant lose at Wembley really.. but I dont think going into that looking for a point will be the way to play.
Get straight into them, go hard early. The more any team stands off England, the easier they have it... mentally they will collapse if a team gets in their face. Southgate will not be able to adapt his team, they love playing Eastern European sides who are happy to do nothing for 90 minutes.
Get it up em
That's the stuff. Are you sure you're only one third Scottish?

I think there should be! The bottom five (six?) restricted to Nations League predictions while the rest can join the World Cup prediction league. A bit harsh on @Rob1981but he has previous.
