  1. Thought as much it would be an Africian team, there is a competition in which only domestic players can be picked https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/African_Nations_Championship
  2. Which National team are you manager of?
  3. Try Gaziantepspor in the Turkish Football Federation Second League they have a massive points deduction and is made up of young players
  4. Give your Dutch save a go with Almere City FC, its not to far from Amsterdam and if i remember correctly they Ajax as a parent club
  5. He won't be classed as a non eu player as he has Italian as his second nationality
  6. Will give this a try when I start my new save later in the Swedish bottom league
  7. I will be starting with either LKS Lodz as remember having a save with them years ago and are now back in the Polish league, or will be starting with Warta Poznan just because they have a rather attractive owner.
  8. More of the underdog always a team in the lowest division
  9. It's that time of year the last patch has been released and now I want to begin my long term save, only problem is I spend hours on end going through teams trying to pick who to be. I have narrowed the leagues down to Sweden, Belarus, Uruguay, Slovakia and Slovenia but unsure which one to go with any suggestions?
  10. Now that the final patch has been released I have been looking through clubs to start a long term save, I have stumbled across a team in Uruguay called Albion F.C (they have a very interesting background, also the oldest club in Uruguay and also have links to England https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Albion_F.C.). When you start with them all there players are on amateur contracts but the club is professional so can sign them to full time contracts. My major concern is I know nothing about the league structure in Uruguay, the Uruguayan Segunda División is straight forward enough top two get promoted, but then it gets complicated in Uruguayan Primera División as it has opening and closing stages and relegation is determined by your average performance over to seasons (I think). So what i'm asking is if anyone has managed in Uruguay is it an interesting league? are the league rules easy to understand? and also is there a cup competiton as does not appear to have one? Thanks in advance
  11. Just wondering how you go about deleting saved games for FM18 Mobile on an iPhone as use to be able to do it via iTunes but no longer looks to be an option?
  12. One of the things that takes forever for me is starting a save on FM, going through league after league picking a team, I'll then start a save and within a matter of days I've had enough. Now I have narrowed my next save down to one of two teams, the first is NK Kustošija in the Croatian second division, now these interest me as there a Zagreb based team and I would like to build them up to hopeful overthrow Dinamo, and they also have the son of Zvonimir Soldo on there books so would be interesting to try and enhance his career. The other team is FC Maritsa Plovdiv in the Bulgarian second division again be interesting to build them up as they have clubs like PFC Botev Plovdiv and PFC Lokomotiv Plovdiv already in the top flight so be nice to get them challenging against them, its also the club Hristo Stoichkov started his youth career so would be good to get another player of that level come through the youth ranks. Just after some advice from anyone who has managed in either league before I start with a save.
  13. My best save had to be FM11, took Mlada Boleslav in the Czech Republic to Champions League glory in my 5th year with them while also becoming international manager for Belarus and getting them to the 2014 World Cup, my best player was Jan Chramosta who I would not shut up about, would score goals for fun as his pace was high.
