That logic is very flawed... Going by that, Perica Ognjenovic is a much better player than Juan Carlos Valeron because he played for Real Madrid.

I have no idea what you're on about but we're talking about Leroy Sané and Julian Brandt. Both key players for their respective sides.

 that would be typical of no-one, ever, surely it'd be a first?

You're not familiar with all the ways things don't go Mexico's way, there was even a 'When will Mexico finally get some luck?' thread ;)

Be harsh if Mexico go out with 6. Hope they don't!

I forgot how jammy Portugal were to get through in 3rd place with 3 points at the Euros, unreal when you think about it.

Yeah, the 3rd placed possibilities made the Euros more interesting but was a **** take for some teams.

I can still just about remember how dreadful Germany were at Euro 2000 (even an England team managed by Kevin Keegan beat them, for crying out loud). This lot are probably worse.

Never seen a Germany side so poor.

They were absolutely honking at Euro 2000.

This isn't a 'bad' team. Too many similar players, and too many out of form.
