Such a shame that the widemen are so open and free but no one is passing to them, Gosens just was wide open and they pass inside, like Löw said, what ever you do, never pass it out wide

Gnabry, Havertz and Muller seems like such a miss match of forwards to me.

Löw hasn't touched traditional strikers since Klose retired. Admittedly, Germany hasn't really had any great ones either, but with the creativity and movement Germany theoretically has behind the striker you don't even need a Lewandowski, you just need someone that sits in that area and occupies the CDs. Löw however keeps trying forcing all kinds of players that are not lone strikers into that role and the result has been going equally poorly for years.

France are almost a level above Germany here.

I'm not going to write Germany off but... France are pretty good

Yet, somehow, Rabiot is in the XI and Tolisso is in the squad. Fortunate to have Kante.

Havertz just looks **** to me. Did nothing all season apart from one goal in the CL final (for which he can partly thank Ederson). Even here, just looks lazy, off the pace, not switched on.
