Hey @knap

I am having a lot of problems with the discipline using FIRE 4321, any advice?  Would I lose a lot by taking the tackling down a notch or is it essential to the tactic?

Invincibles Season with only one loss in all competitions.  Unfortunately,                This is the FA Cup Final.

it was the second leg of the Champions League Semi Finals against

AC Milan.  We won the home leg 2-1 and lost the away leg 0-1 giving them

the win on away goals.  We won the treble, Premier, FA Cup and Carabao.

 

We were 7-2 odds in the preseason to finish 3rd in the league.  Our leading goal scorer had 41 goals in 49 matches, 26 in 30 in the Premier.

Just wondering if you have a Beowulf/Wulf 4231 this year with the IF setup? I'm at the state now where I'm looking to run a relaxed save where I can sit back and watch the tactic play out and that was fantastic last year.

I had a go with these ones, but the higher tempo put me off a bit. The slightly lower tempo and slightly shorter passing is really what I'm looking for in this one. Thanks for pulling these up again though!

So i decided to start a save with Morecambe to try to take them to Premier League Glory. I started using  !!!!!FM20.4.1BEOWULF442WAFKnap(P107))VOL3P107ECCC but i guess it was too attacking for my team. As you can see the season started terribly and i  was heading for relegation as predicted. 

 

 

I decided to change to 1490765812_!!!!!!FM20.4.1FireandWaterVOL24321OXP103EC after the Newport loss with a few tweaks and the results were amazing and i went on a 24 game unbeaten run. I also took charge of Team Talks.

 

 

I achieved automatic promotion which is an amazing achievement since Morecambe are favorites to get relegated.

I've used fire and water VOL2 4321 Oxford P103 on a number of saves with great success but nothing has come close to the season I've just had with Man Utd. Truly remarkable thank you Knap.

You really need a player in the AI DM are of pitch. 442s with 2 support MCs may need tweaking, The 433 uses a PF S to man mark, so tis is a possible tweak, but not sure whether that has been tried.

433 works. Also I got a meassage today saying a Fire tactic with 2 PFs is working like hell and getting 60/posession. Not looked into it yet.

If underdog I would consider a formation that lets you man mark their lowest midfielder.

It may be possible with a 442 but may need a PF.Pssible the TM P Tactic may work with MM.

Whoever mentioned the Man-Marking with the tactics is an absolute legend. Been struggling for at least a month with Newcastle with inconsistently battling with top four and now since I've finished 2nd behind Liverpool(Miles ahead of me they were) and now moved in the Europa League final against Lyon.

 

Actually fancy taking on Liverpool for the title next season so thank you to the person who suggested it, worked a treat for all my tactics so far

Always start with the 4312 but if the games isn't going my way or there is just no action, switch it up. The PSG game, i started with the 4321 in both legs...very surprised at the results tbh

 

Oh, i haven't done any man marking or setting set piece takers or anything, false dawns i think, i just plug and play. I do take control of the games and use shouts though. Also use the training schedules in the OP.  Moral and tactic familiarity are key

For all games i used the 4312 , and to keep the score I use this 4411.

Against City I used to the man marking to mark theirs DLP who play MDC, I used it to half time but i loss 2-0, so I stop use the man marking and I win the games. But against Paris in French cup final with a man marking I won easily 3-1, even if I had a red card in the 15 minutes !

RDF TRAINING

Summary by Rober

1. Get a lot of great fitness coaches, I have six. Three on each category. Put yourself and ass man at normal training categories, add 2 gk coaches for gk. If still room, find some normal coaches with model citizen personality.

2. Instead of training in position, add double intensity on individual training. Then select area which is lacking, f ex final third, that trains decisions and composure like shown here. These will increase very much. I think Almada started with 10 and 13, so +2 and still only 7months of season played.

3. This can be automated under rest in training tab. Select automation on all in individual, then they change according to his fitness levels to protect from training to hard when low fitness after matches, and get injuries.

4. If coaches have Model citizen personalities, you will also have increase in determination for many players. But not always so easy to find.

5. With this we recommend letting ass. man. handling normal training, and not combining this with other schedules, as we have hired may fitness coaches and have just you and ass man on normal categories.
