Uruguay beat Holland, USA, and England. Uruguay went through the knockout stages without conceding a goal until the final. Serbia beat Spain on penalties in the semi-final. Yoann Gourcuff was named best player. Neven Subotic took the Golden Boot, scoring five goals. David Villa and Fernando Torres were second and third, scoring four each. Notable Group Stage Outcomes Serbia 2-0 Argentina USA 0-0 Argentina Argentina finished third in the group. Group C was decided by who beat South Africa by the greatest margin. Mexico, Paraguay, and Russia all tied each other. Mexico beat South Africa 6-0, Paraguay won 5-1. Russia won 2-0, and did not advance. Haha, and Uruguay just offered me the manager's position, one game into World Cup Qualifiers. In the 2012 European Championships, Serbia failed to progress out of the group stage.
