Totally agree, Johnson is devoid of defensive nous and really is a midfielder in my eyes, he can be brilliant going forward. England need a proper right back. He made one, which he had to do because he let someone run in behind. He has no tactical intelligence. He lacks concentration. His passing is sloppy and he panics. He is utter dross. It's a bit hard to say he was out of position, considering he was hardly ever in position the whole games. He was there for a couple of last ditch tackles during the match when normally he would be way out of position,he did much better than he normally does....I am still a Richards fan though,I still could not put Johnson's performance down compared to the other English players tonight. I hope they do get 2nd spot and get Spain .... Or Sheva rolls back the years and sends them home.
