Barkermush
Did Wenger apologise to McDermott straight after Chamakh scored the 7th, and then shook his head? He probably knows that Chamakh scoring 2 in any game, is just taking the **** out of the opposition.

Carmi88
Splitting headache here :DSame. I genuinely gave up at 2-0. I switched off when Martinez gave them that 3rd goal, Walcott pulling one back made me want to watch the second half

SteveUK
Walcott throwing the ball away in the post match interview, after he found out they hadn't give him the goal. yeah but in replays just now it shows it was actually over the line lol so he needs to get that ball back
Barkermush
yeah but in replays just now it shows it was actually over the line lol so he needs to get that ball back But it wasn't given, they said that in the post match interview, that even though replays showed it was over the line, the officials haven't given it you. It's not like an own goal, which can be over ruled and given to the striker.. it's a goal that wasn't given. It's like looking back in a previous game, and seeing a ball that crossed the line which wasn't given, and then giving it. Feel for Theo though, he really wasn't happy when he threw the ball away in a huff.
Carmi88
Comeback's on.Actually, semi-seriously, this could finish with almost any score. shoutout to spotg for being bang on at half time
Klimowicz
I agree with Quinn here, McDermott has less to be embarrassed about than us. Obviously very disappointing losing after being 4-0 up, but we were expected to win.
Llew_Arshavin23
I'm in shock. How good was Thomas Eisfeld tonight? Lacked incisive decision-making, but other from that, he was very impressive.
chris79
'you cannot play for Arsenal FC and give up no matter what the score is' and he means it, he had some 5 minutes to remind his players about it. Theo's and Carl's interviews prove he was quite persuasive. let's sack him asap, please.
Barkermush
'Have you ever had a 7-5 scoreline before? Is that the first 7-5 for you in your career?' 'First set is for us [Wenger smerks] that looked like a tennis game tonight'
Bicycle
Wenger should try Chamakh and Giroud together vs Man U.
chris79
Also i think everyone of the Arsenal travelling fans (apart form the ones who went out at 4-0 ofc) deserve a medal at least. They were just amazing all night.
SCIAG
If it makes you feel any better (not that you could feel any better), at 4-0 I was mentally preparing an image of Damien Martinez captioned "an hero" McDermott's squabble with Danny Guthrie has cost us again, zero control in the midfield. It did help that the referee gave you so much (though I hear Chamakh should have had a penalty), Kos was doing all your defending in the second half after he should have gone.
