Sorry but how can David Mcnamee being an Aberdeen player have not made it in time for the data lock? It happened weeks ago right at the start of the transfer window, before moves like Caroll, Suarez and Torres happened, do not feed us nonsense excuses like that, just be honest you do not give a **** about the SPL and teams like Aberdeen and this whole thing is a mess. Get a grip SI you should all be sacked, time after time, mistake after mistake you are ruining the reputation of what was a great game.

they do change position and instructions aswell :S i , i can see then on the pitch as well using the others instructions

CJ'43, try going forward in your game by a little while. I just started a new game in Portugal myself, and initially the fixtures were not displaying for the U19's. However after proceeding a month or so into the game, the fixtures were generated for them.

For example, if i play a friendly against a very small foreigner club and they give me 20K (away match), i can do it all the time and they'll give me always the money.

you've installed the wrong patch.

Steam will auto-update for you.

Try uninstalling it on steam and reinstalling it.

Its something we are aware of, and is currently under review. Given prioritising other bugs, this one didn't make it.

Problem solved. These competitions appear at 1st july. Portuguese season starts (in game) in june.

It's actually the researchers fault, who is probably Scottish, so yeah

Lads on the McNamee thing it's down to the researchers who aren't paid and volunteer as fans not people who work at SI. It's not perfect but it is easy to fix in the editor and I think there are plans for another hot fix with updates on transfers that were after data lock if someone can confirm.

but every time i load the game it forces the update even though ive unchecked "auto update"

This will be why, and your assistant isn't always right, form can change his opinion on how he rates the players.

Hm, I can't get it to work. My editor file made on 11.1 still don't work with the 11.3 patch and 11.2 data base. Still messes things up.

Very successful lower league managers offered better jobs working. Carried on my Bromley save after updating patch and within a day I was offered the managers job at Suwon. Wow, the South Koreans are keeping their eye on me, LOL.

There's no need to put it anywhere, all you need to do is double click on the patch and select 'Update' and it should automatically patch the game.
Make sure you have downloaded the correct version of the patch

theres no big league bias considering the have to get the SPL right because of licensing reasons, anyway it a mistake by someone who does the work for nothing.

This year was the first time I waited till now to buy the game, so I've just installed it and it is, contrary to previous years, completely unpatched. So I was wondering if I need to install the previous patches before installing the new one?

One weird thing I noticed just after applying the patch, is that now my parent club is asking me to pay full wages plus a fee when I make a loan offer for a reserve player who is listed for loan.

My team is Vauxhall (currently in the Championship), my parent club is Man Utd. Up until now I could loan players from them without a fee and without paying any wages. This isn't right, is it?

Have just started a new save and got job with Barnet. Tried trimming some dead wood and the players i tried to offload all came back as having just joined the club so couldn't be sold. I started looking through the squads contracts to find some I could offload and every single one of the players at Barnet is showing as having started the contract in July 2010. Have just checked thro Accrington and Bradford too and all of their contracts started in july 2010.
Have I done something daft or is this badly wrong?

You don't need to put anything anywhere, the installer does everything for you

What is their squad status at Man United? If they view them as important enough they will demand a fee.

You are trying to install the patch with the game running, quit the game and try again and you'll be fine

Posted a while ago (356) but have since checked league 2 in detail and seemingly every player in league 2 shows as their contract starting in july 2010. This makes it impossible to offload anyone from a team you start with in league 2. It wasn't like this before the patch

I'd advise shutting down the computer and turning it back on again to start from scratch
Then after you've logged on just double click on the patch you have downloaded and click 'update'. Don't do anything before double clicking on the patch, this should ensure no files are open and then the patch can install correctly

It´s always save game compatible, but some changes might only be in your game, when starting a new save.

You need to read it again!

The patch can be installed without installing any previous patch, and is save game compatible. For those of you running via the disc you’ll need the ‘disc’ patch, likewise those running the digital download version you’ll need the ‘digital’ version.

When I go to the squad page when I select to order players by 'Form' they don't order by form. Each time I click it it changes the order by 'Position'. Quite annoying, one of my favoured sort options.

I've tried 2 different skins, FM11 original and dark and have the same problem. Is there something I can do to correct this?

Yeah on a second glance after loading the 11.2 database up, i've noticed some of his other attributes have had a little rise. [pace, passing, finishing, penaltys.. etc]
