Welshace Posted March 7, 2017 Author Share Posted March 7, 2017 Already mentioned but Jørgen Strand Larsen in 17.3 is surely THE must buy player in the game now.. checking on the editor ; he has a CA of 85, and most of his stats are fixed in their excellent positions.. he is also a -8 PA ridiculously good. The compensation to sign him was ridiculously minimal and he was willing to come to a club in Russia, so he might be pretty open to where he moves. bar333 Posted March 7, 2017 Share Posted March 7, 2017 Never seen this guy mentioned in any wonderkid discussion, but I think people are missing out, Jonathan Leko - This guy is great for pretty much PL club that's strapped for HG players, I got him for 11m in my third season but you can probably get him for a couple of mil when he's just 17 at the start of the game. In my opinion he can also develop much better than this, West Brom were crazy enough not to play him outside of the reserves even in the Championship, so he didn't get any football for the first two seasons. Not mentioned as frankly, he's certainly more than a few million at the start of the game... probably around 20 mil... and by the time you can get him cheaper, he's overtaken by others of better quality for cheaper... He suits my micro-management style perfectly: he's played as a wingback, central midfielder, just off the centre-forward, in wider areas. Just a really adaptable, exciting and talented player. Would be interesting to see how available he is at the start of the game. I'd also recommend this guy from Porto. No idea if these are well known players or not. Welshace Posted March 14, 2017 Author Share Posted March 14, 2017 This guy is worth keeping an eye out for on your games, only 18 and will only cost 100k, will come to championship teams, fluent in english and has really high potential value.. random stats so will look different in your games, but high CA for his age, so will almost always be a decent player to bring in for developing for any team. I picked him up with Luton.. and he has decent base stats along with a ridiculous pa of -8 .. So if nothing else, he's an investment for those who wish to use such methods. Unfortunately, I don't think I can get him for my Alaves side- and I bloody need a cheap-ish BWM that can slot in the team with minimal need to develop (Any suggestions?). Sabine Posted March 19, 2017 Share Posted March 19, 2017 I managed to get this guy for £875k for my Sunderland side from Nacional and I personally think he looks good for a lower - mid table Premier League team. I think he might even come to the bigger Championship teams, but I haven't tested that. For some reason, I didn't have any issues with a work permit, just appealed on his first rejection and he was able to get one. Very solid and I love how well-rounded his attributes are. Just started an Inter Milan game and was looking to find some Italian players to stock the team with in here and found barely anyone of note. Especially trying to play a 3-CB system. Melegoni is on loan, so I can't buy him. Pinamonti isn't quite good enough and Pellegrini is out of my budget at $15-25m USD. Mostly because I picked up Phillip Ochs for $24. Every time I start up a 17.3 game and check his CA/PA it's always set to something crazy low like 45/67. I'm not sure what's happening but any database configuration I try the game never seems to show the player in relation to what the editor says his potential should be.
