darren1983
Can he appeal which will delay the start of the ban to play in the next WC game? Don't think so as the 9 game Uruguay ban can't be appealed.

milnerpoint
He would have to sign some sort of contract for any deal to go through Depends on if he gives his lawyer permission to sign something for him. pearcey_90
Lucky boy I say, should have been at least 6 months. Suppose 4 will do, as he will most likely recommit, so will be interesting to see if Liverpool now cash in on him this summer before he does do it again, as there won't be no way back after that. Suppose banned from all football activity means he'll have to train on his own either in Liverpool or back in Uruguay. Not really ideal for Liverpool. Two seasons in a row where his missing a chunk at the start due to his behaviour.
Santa Claus
The thing I hate the most is that Liverpool fans will actually use this as an excuse when they don't make the top 4 next season. The thing is, they wouldn't make it irregardless.

Icondacarver
The ban should not stop a transfer as that is restriction of trade. I wonder if the FA will unsuspend his ban as the worldwide ban now brings his punishment to games under their jurisdiction.
jmr
The cherry on the cake would be an extra couple of months added to the ban because of a frivolous appeal.

Icondacarver
Wouldn't people have said that this time last year? This! Say what you want about some of their fans, that club is resilient as hell and setbacks like this just strengthen their siege mentality. They will get top 4 next season, the thing at risk was a stronger tilt at the title.
Barry Cartman
The player Luis Suárez is banned from taking part in any kind of football-related activity (administrative, sports or any other) for a period of four (4) months in accordance with art. 22 of the FDC. So surely that means he can't sign any new contracts
