Crazy_T
No Arbeloa :cool:Brilliant decision to cut the little cancer. Watch him tweet some cryptic nonsense or complain that Diego López wasn't picked. I think Villa, Torres, Iturraspe, Moreno, Carvajal, Mata and Llorente will be cut, just a guess though. thank god. cuts will be: carvajal, moreno, iturraspe, cazorla, mata, torres, llorente. - azpi can play both sides and should start on the right - no need for iturraspe because of busquets and javi (even though he's been the best DM this season) - cazorla just hasn't been good enough - mata is a close one, hasn't been as good as say silva, but is still juan mata - koke over thiago if thiago is still unfit - llorente or negredo, think he'll take negredo - torres... EnterUsernameHere
Yeah, I don't think Cazorla has been good enough either this season. He always seems to make the squad though, so could sneak in again.

Fe98
You say that, but there's no denying Klose's record or pedigree. He doesn't get the exposure because he's not in the Champions League, but I'd take a striker with his international pedigree, who's proven it over years and years, over multiple tournaments, than some guy smashing goals in the Champions League but with no international pedigree. Messi? The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 8 characters. (thought it was 10, have they reduced the limit?) Astafjevs
What do you think Italy's starting lineup is likely to be? Don't follow Serie A much any more... Buffon; Abate, Barzagli, Chiellini, De Sciglio; De Rossi, Pirlo, Marchisio; Montolivo; Giuseppe Rossi, Balotelli Only doubt is Thiago Motta for Marchisio. And maybe G.Rossi, if Prandelli is unsure of his fitness. But he wants to play him.

Astafjevs
France have, very quietly, built up a nice pool of central defenders, all of a good age. There was a long period post-Euro 2008 where they had some right rubbish in that area. Now - Varane and Mangala look like they could/will be quality defenders in the future. Koscielny is very good, and I quite like Sakho too. EDIT: Just remember Kurt Zouma as well, who will surely be in the squad in years to come.

Would take Cédric over André Almeida as the second right-back, would take Bebé as one of the forwards, and I reckon there was a place for Adrien somewhere at least as a reserve. But - as I've been saying for a while - I believe João Mário is a better player than a lot of people give him credit for, at least has more potential than both starting Sporting midfielders Adrien and André Martins. It's great that Bento spotted his talent despite the fact he's been loaned out at Setúbal - talent is talent regardless of club. I'd like Quaresma to be on the plane, but I think he'll be left out though and Bento will pick one of either Rafa or Cavaleiro for the versatility. I'd drop Nani instead but Bento likes Nani too much.

noikeee
When are Portugal going to finally produce a decent striker again? Whenever Nélson Oliveira realizes he hasn't made it as a superstar yet and starts changing his attitude, or whenever Betinho starts resembling the player he was at youth level. Both are unlikely to happen anytime soon, so I guess we might have to wait yet another generation.
