luke.smith
Hi Guys, As we have nearly had a year with Fm2012 now I thought it would be interesting to get fellow fanatics opinions on who they think would get into an FM12 'Dream Team' meaning the best eleven you could possibly assemble in the game. It doesn't have to be an eleven that you have had in the past, although i'm sure personal experiences will play a big part. If money, contracts, club status etc were no problem, young or old, who do you think would make the best eleven you could possibly ever assemble for total domination?! Rules: NO REGENS, CAN ONLY BE PLAYERS ON FM2012 CAN BE ANY PLAYER FROM ANY LEAGUE CAN BE FUTURE WORLD BEATERS AND CURRENT SUPERSTARS PLEASE PUT YOUR PREFERRED FORMATION My Dream Team Formation - 4-2-3-1 GK Hugo Lloris - The guys a brick wall! DL - Gael Clichy - Lighting pace, defends and attacks brilliantly DC - Nemanja Vidic - Rock Solid and great in corners DC - Thiago Silva - got everything and a great ball playing defender DR - Dario Srna - Devastating free kicks and crosses MC - Marvin Martin - Might seem mad but I actually rate this guy more highly then Xavi in this game - ridiculous range of passing MC - Javi Martinez - Is there a better all rounder Bayern just paid £35 million for him and I can see exactly why AML - Crisitano Ronaldo - Assist and Goal Machine AMC - Eden Hazard - Like a steam train going through the middle great passing and dribbling AMR - Lacazette - Brilliant player selfish at times but you forgive him for his unbelievable goals ST - Neymar - Would never leave Messi out of a real dream team but I've had great success with this little genius. Some of you will think this is awful! as so many good players left out! Lets see who can do better and make the Best FM 12 Dream Team!

DandyDon
This would probably be my ultimate real world fantasy 11 in a 4-2-3-1 formation. BabyfaceAssassin
Purely because I tend to go for younger players not so big in the real world. GK Marc Andre ter Stegen RB Sebatian Corchia CB Dede CB Kurt Zouma LB Alex Sandro DM Kara CM Christian Eriksen CM Andrea Poli AMR Antoine Griezmann AML Andre Schurrle ST Carlos Fierro Basically had a massive over haul over 3 seasons with Chelsea and that ended up being my team for the next 6 seasons winning everything in sight numerous times, but then it started getting tedious as I wanted to sell some as to keep them playing and me bringing through young regens but no one would ever look at a single one of them. lacoste8030
My main save on the game is only 7 years old but have been manager at sevilla and chelsea. This is my dream team out of that. My Formation is 4-5-1 GK: Hugo Lloris (Who I had at sevilla and was fantastic.) DR: Cesar Azpilicueta (Who I had at both sevilla and chelsea and has been so solid and consistant for me) DC: Martin Caceres (At Sevilla was majestic with Fazio and scored goals as well as making last ditch tackles and blocks for team) DC: Federico Fazio (Same as Caceres majestic) DL: Maxwell (One of my first signings at sevilla, he was great with his getting forward, also surprised me with his defensive displays) DMC: Oriol Romeu (The only defensive midfielder I used in the game, and was solid for me) MC: Rafael Van Der Vaart (Did amazing as my playmaker in the middle of midfield, making the through pass or even scoring himself) MC: Thiago (Has surpirsed me chelsea and become starting 11. Scoring a handful of goals for me each season as well as passing the ball extremely well) AMR: Arjen Robben (Was amazing for sevilla. scored amazing goals and made plenty of assits?) AML: Mario Gotze (He is great, gets forwards, makes assists and scores goals.) ST: Fernando Torres (This guy has been scoring so much for me at Chelsea, Even at the age of 33 or 34 he has been scoring plenty) Surprisingly most the players are my sevilla players. I am surprised. Lexis
GK : Iker Casillas - Best keeper in my honest opinion. Constant, great experience, great captain , amazing keeper. DR : Daniel Alves - Offensive , bombing full back that can cover the whole wing and perform both on the offensive and the deffensive. CB : Gerard Pique - Strong, fast, good tackling, marking and passing as a bonus. CB : Thiago Silva - Same as Pique with less strenght but more speed. LB : Lahm - Opposite of Daniel Alves. Great effort capacity, good defensive abilities. DM : Javier Mascherano - Not a doubt on this one. Best DM in the game. Exceptional physical traits and defensive abilities while still having atleast a decent passing ability CM : Xavi - Great all - round CM. Good dribbling, can make forward runs and finish attacks, can drop deep and act as a Deep Lying Playmaker, good stamina to close down opponents, good long shots. CM : Iniesta - Exceptional dribbler and passer. The more offensive between the 2 CMs. LW : Cristiano Ronaldo - Nothing left to say about him. Along with Messi, arguably the best player. Can pass, cross, close down, use his dribbling and speed to wreak havoc, finish attacks and try long shots. Also good jumping ability. RW : Lionel Messi - Normaly, I'd use him as a Trequartista in ST but I have someone else to put there while still keeping Messi. Beast of a player. Has a better technical ability than Cristiano but he doesn't have his physical prowess. ST : Ibrahimovic - What is there left to say about this player? Pretty much as Ronaldo he can pull everything off. Head in corners, do great trough-balls, dribble, hold the ball up, do long shots, etc. Pretty much anything that can happen in the attack phase, Ibrahimovic can do it succesfully. This would be the dream team for me.

myfmdaily
With Benfica I have 4-2-2-2 GK - Niklas Horstmann (400k from Austria Vienna), I can't find information about this player on real world, but he was at this club on season 2011/2012 DL - Denner (From Corinthians €1.5M) DR - Romário (From Vitória €1.1M) DC - Ezequiel Garay - BPD DC - Kara (from Tromso 700k) MC - Javi Garcia - BWM Defend MC - Axel Witsel - Advanced playmaker AML - Nico Gaitan - Winger AMR - Rodrigo - Winger ST - Oscar Cardozo - DLP ST - Carlos Fierro - Poacher Maybe that's not the best formation on Football Manager 2012, but was enough to defeat Real Madrid some times and take some draws against Barcelona. danm2501
Really? I've always had more success with Gylfi in CM and Eriksen at AMC. Stomalomalus
Craig Gordon - Been a rock for me in an Arsenal save - bought him as backup, became first choice, conceded 12? goals all season Sagna - Just a rock Neil Taylor - a must buy for anyone below the top, just rock solid quality Phil Jones - Becomes a beast and insane alongside: Kurt Zouma - Develops so, so quickly Fellaini - Solid and dependable in either BWM or DLP, gets goals from set plays Arteta - Another who absolutely destroyed my expectations of him, just picked every pass Navas - Was inconsistent at first, but turned into the outlet for my Utd team. Bale - Just excellent in Defensive Winger role, steamrollers opponents Cazorla - Passing %age in the 90's, key passes every game, 25+ assists in the season, super creative fulcrum Cavani - the perfect Complete Forward, pace, power, finishing, creativity and passing. Things Could Get Messi
Not going to do a total XI or do all totally obvious players either on this. Just some of the best players I have managed to sign over the last 12 months. GK David Ospina. Picked him up on a free from Nice and was my keeper for 12 seasons. Turns out great if you can get him in the first few seasons. CB Omar Toprak. Cost me 7.5m but worth every penny. A solid defender worth getting for 99% of clubs. AM Adam Johnson. A bargain at 3.2m who I kept for over a decade until he retired. Loads of assists, bagged a fair few goals as well and won Best Player In Europe award in his time with me as well. AM Lucas Moura. Very obvious but so good in so many positions that he is a dream signing if you play with 3 in the AM positions. ST Soloman Rondon. By far my best striker on FM12 who wasn't a regen. Scores loads and can do any job that you would want a striker to do with his attributes.
