PMLF
i'm pretty sure he has a brilliant record for brazil aswell, it doesn't even matter who you play against he is good enough to score against anybody I don't think his goal rating matters much, and he hasn't scored in his last 3 games for Brazil anyway (and those weren't even against good teams as it was Venezuela, Oman and England very weakened team), so I expect his goals per game ratio to settle in a lower value. think you're underrating him if anything Maybe. There are still several players who are better than him and who could score more goals in the WC (like Rooney, Villa, Messi, and a couple of other Argentinians although obviously not all of them will have the chance to score many goals), and it's not like if I said he wouldn't score any goals, etc... I just said I don't think he will be the top goalscorer.

TigerChris
Higuain at 21.00 seems a decent bet imo. Also Benzema/Pato at 34.00 as outsiders (Presume they'll be going and playing some part? PMLF
He certainly won't go unless there are lot of injuries. And he won't be missed either as he was rubbish in most of his Brazil games.
tcoleman1
I'm going to go a completely different way to everyone in this thread and say David Villa Got a feeling Ronaldo won't get many goals. However if I had to pick a dark horse it would be Hong Yong-Jo of North Korea. Cause if he doesn't then he's got big (although very little) Kim to answer to

PluckaDuck
Scott McDonald has been pretty poor for Australia, but can be a brilliant goal-scorer at times. Just remember that season for Celtic, a deep, deep outsider at 1/201.
G-Man11
Tim Cahill will be our top scorer easily. If I was going to bet on one of our players (but I wont ) it would definitely be Cahill who can score against good teams and not just SPL dross. el sid
Adriano imo
PMLF
Adriano imo Unfortunately he isn't going to be a starter, unless Luís Fabiano gets injured or miss games for whatever other reason... There is even a small chance Adriano misses the WC as he has bedn doing some silly things this year and might have annoyed Dunga. But I expect Dunga to still include him in the final list as he is a million times better than Grafite, Hulk and the likes.
Razzler
As a non-gambler, what is this way of showing odds, like 11.00 or 67.00 or 3.5?

TigerChris
As a non-gambler, what is this way of showing odds, like 11.00 or 67.00 or 3.5? Just includes your stake back. So if you put £1 on at 11.00, you'll get £11 back. 11.00 is the equivalent of 10/1, but the 10/1 doesn't show that it includes your stake.
Razzler
Ah, I see. 10/1 for Rooney then, isn't that quite long? I'd have favourites for all these things are usually 3/1, 4/1?

Razzler
It does seem long, but they have no idea who win it and so many players could win it True but there will, of course, be favourites, usually bookies don't give good value, one of the reasons I find betting pointless. Stoke 100/1 for title ... try 1,000,000/1 ffs and I'll put a quid on I'd imagine Rooney will be a popular bet, especially in England so 10/1 seems generous

Danny Dire
If spain play 4-5-1, with Cesc. He could be a good outside punt. Why would they play that? If Torres is fit then surely him and Villa will start up top. Obivous one but Villa. He is the deadliest striker in the world in front of goal and he will almost certianly rack up a few againt Chile, Hondous and Switzerland.
