Ronaldo been hiding a bit but the ball ain't reaching him so what can he do? Other than dropping back 20 yards to where he's not supposed to be.

Exactly. He haven't had a single decent ball the whole match so far, and with ten against eleven I am afraid for Portugal they will get slaughtered big time now.

Portugal misses intelligent players like Rui Costa, Costinha, Maniche and Pauleta.

I think he's done generally fine? It's the defence and midfield that's been disappointing. Conceding lots of space, comitting fouls, bad marking in set pieces, not good enough cover to the back 4, not quick enough getting ball out of defence into attack. None of that has been the attack's fault particularly Nani.

Nah, that "attempted" pass to Ronaldo was bad and bar his close effort, he hasnt done much. he cant even get passed Howedes who isnt even a left back.

Why has Reus named his twitter account '@woodyinho'?

Why the 'wood' and the 'inho' suffix?

People say Reus looks like Woody Woodpecker.

The "inho" refers to Brazilian football which is still described as beautiful and desirable in Germany. Reus should know it better tho he played together with Felipe Santana who can't kick a ball.

Thanks! Pretty creative although I think it's silly when foreigners add the -inho suffix, in his case we would probably have dropped the 'y' so it would be just Woodinho.

As for the cliché, it's funny how pretty much every foreign country thinks we have beautiful football while in Brazil we often think the opposite.

Portugal should try Scolari again after this WC. It's a shame to watch dumb players like Pepe in a WC. And it's a shame that CR7 plays for such a weak national team.

He is 29 already, and he can't play another WC at a higher level (probably 2018 would be his last WC). Portugal would need another 100 years to produce a player like him again.

And if it is almost impossible with him, imagine without.

Any countries Brazilians think play great football?
