Sned Posted June 21, 2018 Share Posted June 21, 2018 This is probably just a confirmation bias on my part, but I'm sure there is a reluctance from strikers to attack the goal when wide players break through in a bit of space currently. I feel like every game I watch a chance come up with a winger getting inside and the attacker dropping and lurking near the penalty spot, which is then intercepted. All seems a bit predictable. Nobody seems to want to attack the near post. When fourth referee brings the substitution board up player that's going off has 20 seconds to leave the pitch or it's an automatic yellow for time wasting.
