GHANAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

I like Germany, hope they do well. but Ghana  Wouldn't mind them winning tonight, would definitely be interesting for the group/competition. Germany/Ghana would be my choices for progression from the group (although I expect Germany/USA).

Still think Germany will win this, mind you. Although they have been very poor imo.

Local TV before the game interviewing a european coach who's been in brazil for 3 years. He was talking about how surprised he and the local brazillian coaches are that Germany have been training at such high intensity levels, because conventional wisdom says that's a terrible idea in the brazillian summer and he doesn't think the tournament is short enough for the players to hold form all the way

So they asked him what - if conventional wisdom is correct - we can we expect.

He said something like 'A below par Germany today, then a terrible germany in the third game and any other games they might be lucky to play'

Starting to think he's right

If Portugal beat USA tomorrow, things can be very interesting if Ghana win here. 3rd game, all 3 on 3 points. Portugal would need to annihilate USA and Ghana to recover their GD though, although if USA manage to beat Portugal, USA are through while Portugal are out. That would be a shock.

Fair enough that is a bad idea then, but the key question is would it a bad idea now?
