We don't have any pace merchants but the likes of Johnson, Kelly, Agger, Lucas, Gerrard, Kuyt, Suarez, Downing are all pretty nippy really. Mobile at the very least. I know there has been rumours in the past about us being interested and the guy that posted it on twitter gets a lot right but doesn't mean he is right on this. Liverpool to make a bid for Hazard. I doubt we will try sign a left sided player after buying downing and still have maxi on the books. I think Hazard has already said he wants champions league football and is happy where he is. Dalglish was at the rebock last night. People thinking he was there to try buy Cahill but would have thought comoli would be the one being there try to negotiate a fee not dalglish not to mention we have a game today and he just came back from Norway. I very much doubt he was there even if Bolton is only down the road. I think we will get Enrique and Scott dann and that will be it although would like to have another decent striker to replace ngog and a right sided midfielder. I would play kuyt and Suarez together as my first choice strikers. I think cole and aquilani will be sold, hard to sell the rest of the dead wood. He runs all day, but he doesn't get anywhere fast.You're right but his lungs mean he can maintain his ok speed over much longer distances. The same principle applies to bale. He's not particularly faster than loads of other players but the fact he can maintain that speed over such a long distance leaves players behind. Not comparing the two obv, just saying that kuyt's running is an attribite. Plus kuyt turns really sharply too. But yeah he's not fast you're right. However, it is a weakness in his game if we're caught on the break for example. I certainly wouldn't call him fast or pacey, but he's not slow.
