Whoever wishes to play will be drawn a number, they will then get to pick a player in the order they are drawn. e.g player drawn 5th will get the 5th pick, 6th will get the 6th pick and so on. we will keep going until everyone has 11 players. Players can pick any player who will be playing at the World Cup, so no Bale or Ibrahimovic. Sorry When all players have finished picking a knock-out tournament will be drawn. Players will pick there formations and where their players will play. A thread will be made for each match and forum users will vote on who they think will win the match between the two teams. The winner going through to the next round, the loser leaves the comp. We will keep going until we have a winner. Rules: Players (you) will be drawn a number from 1-16, the number they are drawn represents the order in which they will pick in the first round. Each round thereafter they order will alternate, 16-1, 1-16 and so on. There will be 11 rounds, and you will pick a football player in each round, thus having 11 players. A player can only be picked once. You can pick your players in any order e.g a striker, then a left back, then a goalkeeper. You can have as many players for one position as you like, e.g 11 goalkeepers or 7 strikers and 4 defenders. You can only pick 1 PLAYER PER NATION When it is your turn to pick, make your choice in the thread like this: 1. Cantona (France), 2. Scholes (England) When it is your turn to pick you will have 6 hours inside the game window of 8am and 11pm to make your pick and post in the thread. You can make picks outside this time but will not be punished for not picking outside this time. If you miss your pick you will get two picks next time, miss that pick and you are out of the game. If you pick when it is not your turn you will also lose that turn and your player will be available for someone else. When all rounds have been played A knock-out tournament will be drawn at random, you will pick and post your formations and where your players will play. A thread will be made for each match and forum users will vote on who they think will win the match between the two teams. You can vote for your own team. The voting threads will last for one day (24 hours) The winner going through to the next round, the loser leaves the comp. We will keep going until we have a winner. Feel free to ask any questions about the game or discuss it in this thread. You can also discuss the matches in their thread, leaving a comment on why you voted.
