Has anyone managed to get Rashford's determination up from an 8? I've got Tony V mentoring him who's a 17 determination but I'm surprised it's that low and don't remember it being that low on another save I did. Is it random?

If so, is there an editor I can use to change this in game? Seems a shame to loose a talent like him because of a random determination number (which is unrealistic when he's a well known player).

I honestly dont remember , i think mine started around 10, is now 13.  I had Mkhi tutor him, and he learned to place shots, play one twos, and knock the ball past opponents.  So that went surprisingly well.  Good for my system as I play two strikers so they need to play off of each other as well as the midfield playmaker.

On the other hand, my Angel Gomes has 1 concentration and 2 jumping

Just finished my 2nd season & I won league + champions league. Carrick's retiring & joining backroom staff along with Evra & I'm looking to sign Iniesta on a one year contract. I know he's really old & probably won't start a lot of games, but wage aint too bad & his vision is incredible. Plus when he retires I can always offer him a job in backroom. Got Rooney unfortunately coming back from a spell in China soon & I'm happy with my squad but I again might move some players on to make room for youngsters. Daniel Carrico was bamf for me, but then he annoyed me by getting sent off against Liverpool & I ended up losing 2-1 so since then I've had Van Djik & Baily form quite the partnership in defence & with Libdelof, Tuanzebe, Shaun-Williams, Charlie Scott & Timothy reckon I'm somewhat covered there. Changed my tactic slightly which worked a treat getting Antoine & Marcus into games & Zlatan's moved to midfield.

I've got Rashfords determination at 14, and I think he's mostly been tutored by Zlatan.

What did Rashford's determination start off as in yours?

Can you have him tutored by Zlatan more than once?

I'm in Feb of season one and as I said in my post above, Rashford's determination is only 8...

Don't remember where his stats started but I do think a combination of playing time + tutoring works wonders. Not sure if Zlatan can tutor more than oce but other players have tutored him as well. I've seen some people have Rashford as a profilic goalscorer whilst on mine he's just about ok, so I guess maybe it just depends on game you're playing? I know that's completely unhelpful, maybe someone else has better idea.

KING OF GOAL DIFFERENCE

Champion in first two seasons by goal difference!

epoca1_zpst8ol8wdm.jpg

epoca2_zpsukxu5hui.jpg

In first season also won Europa League. In season two also won England Cup.

For third season my team is stated bellow. I'm going for the youth. I'm not buying the established talents, but it is costing me. These youngsters are not yet prepared for this level.

GK: De Gea / Rajkovic
DR: Mario Fernandes
DC: Tuanzebe / Samalling
DC: Romagnoli / Phil Jones
DL: Shaw / Borthwick-Jackson
MC: Renato Sanches / Melegoni
MC: Pogba / Fosu-Mensah
AMR: Lingard / Januzaj / Chong
AMC: Odegaard / Marcus Edwards
AML: Martial / Depay / Pulisic
ST: Rashford / Moise Kean

Out on loan: Diogo Costa (GK), Ro-Shaun Williams, Calum Chambers, Tyrell Warren, Sessegnon, Angel Gomes, Gribbin, Andrei Ivan, Kuki (broke a leg), Colidio, Andreas pereira, James Wilson.

I just sold Miki, so I think I need a new AMR ou AMC (with Odegaard going to AMR). I'll try to sign Ansensio.
I also want a DR, Bellerin is there ideal but Wenger doesn't let go. Maybe Dalot (was in loan in my team last season, but is also really expensive).

Can I ask how you got a work permit for Rajkovic please? I have him with my Newcastle save 2nd season and it keeps getting rejected every time.

Finished my second season in the last few days (slooow player) and it was interesting...

Let's start with the cups, knocked out by Man City in the EFL and Liverpool in the FA Cup. Tried to use the cups to rotate but in about six rounds (3 in each) I got all decent to strong PL teams which made it tough. Watford & Everton took weaker teams to replays before I put in the big boys to get the job done. City and Liverpool handed out beatings.

Won the Champions League first time of asking, which again is not something that usually happens me. Team just got stronger as competition went on. Gave Barca a decent seeing to in the Semi Final before conquering PSG in the final. Marcus Rashford ended as top scorer with 12 including both final goals.

The league was won by.... West Ham. Yup. We started badly and around beginning of December were in 7th (though no more than 5pts from top) but West Ham got a lead and just kept it. In their last three games they beat Arsenal 4-0, Watford 3-0 and Liverpool 6-1, so they earned it. I ended up second, three points behind. League is priority in third season.

As the season ended, Zlatan announced his retirement after I set him for release. An unbelievable first year was followed by a good but inconsistent second. Scored about 15 as backup to Rashford but couldn't get them consistently. He has been replaced by Paulo Dybala. I blame losing the league to West Ham on my teams lack of goals early days and so firepower was needed. Blind left on a free transfer to Barca after I completely f***** up. Tried to force him out summer before, changed my mind but never won him back. Thirty million down the drain. Bought Riedewald in January to replace. Schneiderlin was also sold to Watford for 29m. Just averaged a 6.8 for two seasons. Also brought in Fabinho from Monaco. Twenty four, can play in a few spots and Darmian and Jonny Otto were inconsistent. Darmian was shipped off to Roma for 22.5million.

In Jan I had bought Virgil van Dijk off Southampton. They were top of the league in late November and were playing me next. VvD was transfer listed by request with Real sniffing around. I started talking about him hoping to disrupt him further (it didn't work - nil all draw) and eventually made a bid. Hadn't actually decided to sign him but then my current defenders had a nightmare in the next game and I decided, what the hell. Been a superb signing and contributed a lot to my second half revival and CL win.

Team looks as follows now:

De Gea/Joel Pereira

Fabinho/Jonny Otto

Shaw/Borthwick-Jackson

van Dijk, De Vrij, Smalling, Bailly

Riedewald/Fiorentino Luis

Pogba/Herrera/Nainngolan/Fosu Mensah (what a player!!)

Mata/Henrikh/ Januzaj

Martial/Depay/Gribbin

Rashford/Dybala/Berahino

Bringing up youth has been a bit slower than expected, which in part is due to me signing more than I planned to. Pereira, CBJ and Januzaj are solid backups. Gribbin and Luis have just been promoted to replace Lingard and Schneiderlin and I guess TFM and Rashford should be counted as well. Have Tuanzebe, Ro-Shaun, Kuki, Gomes and Jordan Williams on loan for the season and hope to get three into the first team squad next year and Chong in u23s (Smalling, Berahino and Herrera prime candidates at the moment).

As for the start of the 18/19 season. it has been unreal. Beat Real Madrid 4-0 in the super cup, before thrashing Brighton 7-1 in the first game of league (Berahino gets 4) followed by a 4-3 win vs Everton and 4-0 vs. Bournemouth before I had to turn off. Fixed the goal problems anyway! Should I win the CL again, I will only do one more season where I will throw up all the remaining youth and see what happens. Nothing worse than a game where every competition comes easy.

This is my first post on here and though i would share my progress so far :)

So, I am currently 8 games into my 3rd season and have been pretty successful. I managed to win the league and EFL in both my 1st and 2nd seasons as well as winning the Europa league in my 1st season the the Champions league in my 2nd. Not too bad. but i am frustrated that i did not win the FA cup last season as a tactical change resulted in my team losing 1-0 to Southampton in the final.

Here is a rundown of the players currently in my squad who are either 1st team or rotation options:
Main formation: 3-1-2-4    Secondary formations: 4-2-3-1   4-1-2-4
Goalkeepers: De Gea, Donnarumma
Defenders: Gimenez, Rugani, Romagnoli, Smalling, Tuanzebe, Shaw, Gaya, Danilo, Darmian
Midfielders: Fosu-Mensah, Bazoer, Renato Sanches, Pogba, Andre Horta, Dele Alli
Attacking Midfielders: James Rodriguez, Mkhitaryan, Asensio, Bernardo Silva, Gribbin, Martial, Rashford
Strikers: Griezmann, Dybala, Ball (Regen)

Lee O'Connor and Borthwick-Jackson are in the squad but only play every now and then along with a couple of other regens.

As for my current season I beat Southampton in the Community Shield but lost to Leverkusen in the Super Cup, both games finished 3-2. I have also won 7/8 PL games drawaing 3-3 with Aresnal.

If you have any questions about transfers or anything else then let me know :)

shame I had no decent Budget left, Chelseas jumped in and bagged Berahino before his contract went down to 3 months.

Hazard is transfer listed at £54m as well, :(  (no champions league football of course and I unsettled him early on, Chelsea currently 7th) was hoping someone would BUY Fellaini and Rooney.. only got loan offers for them.

After starting again, my computer is now incredibly slow :( however I am happier with the game in general and my preseason went much more to plan. I have bought Manolas in defence which I think will really help increase the ability at the back, and Fabregas is transfer listed so now finalising a purchase of him for £12m plus other monies if he plays over 20 international matches and 50 games for us.

I have sold fellani, and had wanted to sell Rojo but he went down injured in preseason and is out for 3 months so no chance of selling.

Only just begun but beat leiceter in shield dispite being with out 5 players I would like in my starting XI. Then beat southahmpton at home with a very comfy 2-0 win still with many little injuries. I did lose my 1st away game spurs 1-0 but that was from a free kick and we still played pretty decent so cant complain too much.

Hopefully Pogba will be back to play 1st game of season and I can get Fabregas along side him in midfield and this time actually challenge in the 1st year :)

these injuries... really... 2 players get injured in training, both had just come back from Injury and were training to be match fit... including my main left back, meaning I have to use Darmian a bit longer :(, that side thanks to miki T is my main attacking side, and would rather have Mario Fernandes and his better crossing.

Just worth noting for anyone in the first season, I notice Real Madrid are always interested in Juan Mata and they made a couple of approaches fairly early on in my save. I managed to negotiate a deal for James Rodriguez which was £15 million upfront, 20% of next sale plus Juan Mata, which they negotiated after me offering a straight swap.

Didn't think it was too bad a deal given how effective James has been so far!

that's not a bad deal I have stuck with Mata after i offered him to other clubs he begged to stay and fight so given him a chance. just before transfer window closes he breaks his ankle and is out for 3 months! lol

I am hopeful Martial/Miki/Lingard will be strong in the inside forwards positions so no need to upgrade them in 1st season :)

You'd be amazed what a midfield duo of him and Pogba are capable of. Ruben Neves is like a more well-rounded Carrick.

I've agreed a contract with Sanches too. Who's best to go for Neves or Sanches?

I have enough money for 3 about £50m players. Was thinking Sanches, Giminez and Dier as I want a midfield ball winner. Unless Sanches can do this role and then I might go for Neves.

Renato Sanches? Nah I don't consider him a ball-winner, attributes don't seem to fit and stylistically he's closer to Pogba than Roy Keane. Dier is great as he can cover 3 positions to a high standard, my own personal favourite is Lars Bender though.

Any tips for a good ball winning midfielder for season 2? My first choice is Dier then Carvallho or Raja Nangolan (Roma).

Also has anyone had success with Rashford despite his low determination of 8?

Thanks

I went with Radja after my first season and he has been okay, but I had to stop using him as a BWM as he was just a constant red card risk. First season he average 2.5 tackles a game, 80% success rate. I would say Fosu-Mensah is just as capable. If I started again I wouldn't sign Radja (especially as I significantly over paid (40m)).

As for Rashford, first season he was backup to Ibra, scored 18 goals in 59 apps (29 starts), second season he stepped up 30 goals in 48 apps (35 starts). I occasionally play him left wing as well so that dilutes him slightly, but he has 22 assists in those seasons. Second season he fired me to the Champions League. Determination now 14, don't know what it was at start.

Ok thanks. I've just started season 2 and Rashford's determination is still 8 whereas on another save he's at 14 in season one. Annoyingly it's a random attribute. Don't know if there's an editor I can use to boost it to 14 in game or whether I can tutor him up there quickly?

He had a shocking first season where he only got 5 goals all season and was low on confidence because of his drought. Ibra on the other hand got 41 - one shy off Ronaldo in 07/08! I'm putting this down to his low determination...

Yeah you should be able to re-tutor with the same person.

Not sure what Basti/Zlatan's hidden stats are, but they don't have the best personalities for tutoring - Mkhi, Valencia or Herrera would make better tutors

Great! Thank you. Any idea how long it will take to go from 8 to 14 in determination? He's 19 years old now.

this happened to Vokins with Tutoring, guy is a beast already, used him in cup games

Determination gone up from 10 to 19

it is odd how this game pans out, gave a few players a chance now they won't be dislodged, Lingard on the right, and Schneiderlin in CM, with an 88% pass completion rate, oddly enough this was Pogbas place.. Pogba has dislodged Herrera..

Hi folks!

I'm slowly working my way through a Manchester United save when I get too frustrated at my main one. I picked United because I love playing youth and promoting from within, and United seemed like the best choice. I just wanted to come in here and giggle over this first season result that I was totally not expecting after some of the games I felt I had a tough time with, and since I had an injured Zlatan, I wasn't expecting much more than a hard-fought 1-0 or 2-1 at best,

Let him loose as a CM(a), think runaway freight train ala Yaya Toure/Patrick Vieira at his peak.

Vincent Thill (FC Metz), very young at the start (16?) and seems to have high potential since the last update.

I started a new save with Man Utd, brought former players Jonny Evans, Rafael and Ryan Shawcross, also bought in Saido Beranhino, Jose Gaya, Pedro Perriera, James Ward-Prowse, Kai Havertz, Ryan Sessagnon, Dayot Upamecano, Fabinho and Xherdian Shaqiri.

Managed to sell Fellani, Rojo, Phil Jones, Damian, Valencia, Young, Schneiderlin and Mata, loaned out a few youngsters, kept Rooney to tutor young players and also to rotate with Zlatan as I am trying to beat Bobby Charlton's record, but Rooney barely scores so can't see it happening.

Currently 5th with 25 league games gone, Martial is my top goalscorer despite playing on the wing with 11 goals, Pogba has best average rating with 7.25.

Doing this as a long term save as Man Utd are the team I follow, I am aiming to make them best team in England again and also beat Fergie's record, wish me luck lol.

Started a new game cause I was a bit bored with old one (but still got that saved for when I'm in the mood to boss everything) & I'm having the same problem I've found I have on every game I play; I cannot get Griezman working. Play him as an inside forward on the left & he barely averages 6.6, play him as a complete forward on support & he's even worse. Tried him once as a deep lying forward & he was alright for a few games, but that don't fit this tactic.

Managed to get 2nd place in my first season with only 1 point between me and 1st place Chelsea, I managed to win the Europa League as well, Zlatan was my top scorer with 17 goals, I had the best defensive record in the league as well.

Lingard and Rashford are showing great promise, but Lingard is out for 6 months, ouch lol.

Rooney only got 5 goals in 32 games for me, has 2 in 10 games so far, don't think he is beating Bobby Charlton's record, I am hoping Rashford is the player to beat the record.

beat these champions league dropouts in the europa final.

Transfer window is a joke.

lose out on Hazard, despite bidding more, same with greizmann

did get decent money for Darmian though, bought in a replacement that fits better tactically, Sold Mata as well, now missing all those targets leaves me with a load of money I cant spend, I am restricted on wages, due to FFP so cant buy Isco either :(, meanwhile Man City are chucking around money like they are bidding in Zimbabwe dollars, the extra money did mean I could go grab Sule, who I wanted to replace Jones, a few young players I loaned out, st Juste I got in for that backup defender slot, loaned him out as well with sule arriving.

only big spend was Icardi... who i also need to fit in, missing out on those Left wing targets perhaps isn't that bad given Martial was banging them in for fun from there at the end of the season.

I did however get Payet to play there,

3366E22762799F7C641BAB8E080FC834766E6541

it is great having a player who scores free kicks... took until march to score 1... and that was deflected, I think I scored 3 all season, Payet will be fun :D

If you are doing a save as Man Utd then you need to have Rashford as a left sided inside forward and have Lingard on the right side as a winger, both have been my best players, also Fabinho from Monaco is a signing you need to make.

I won the title in my 2nd season with 6 points to spare, Rashford top scorer with 20 goals and also 15 assists,Martial got 15 goals and Pogba got 11 goals.

I also got to the semi's of the Champions League, losing to Real in the semi's.

I gave up on having Rooney beating Charlton's record and released him after failing to sell him, Zlatan is retiring at the end of my 3rd season so will just keep him until then.

2nd season signings were mainly Arturo Vidal for 45m, Will Hughes for 20m and Andrea Bellotti for 35m.

I sold Berahino for 11m cos he was moaning about lack of first team games, he then went on to score 24 goals in 31 games for Newcastle, I might live to regret selling him now, Michael Carrick retired after a great career, I sold Jetro Williams cos I had too many left backs and sold him for 11m, released Ashley Young, also sold both the Perrieras and also Botherwick-Jackson as they weren't good enough for Man Utd.

Slowly getting up the Hall Of Fame ladder, currently 21 points away from ousting Roy Hodgson from 10th place in English Hall Of Fame and 39 points away from toppling Malcom Allison.

I am hoping to retain the Prem this year, that is my main aim, also want to try get to the Semis of the Champions League again or win it, the other cups aren't much of a priority of mine and will be using back up players in them competitions.

In my 3rd season I managed to bring in Kingsley Coman for 60m, Leon Goretska for 50m and brought Pierluigi Golini back to Man Utd for 14m.

I sold Ryan Shawcross for 10m after moaning about not playing and wanted to play Upamenanco more, as mentioned already I released Rooney, sold Sam Johnstone for 3m, Ward Prowse went for 12m and got rid of Gaya for 12m.

I will be playing Timothy Fosu-Mensah more this season, Rashford is my best player and first name on the sheet, Lingard is rotated with Mkhitaryan on the right wing, also going to try play Dayot Upamenanco and Will Hughes more, I had to sell Ward-Prowse as he couldn't get in my team ahead of Will Hughes, Vidal, Pogba and Herrera for midfield places.

I have Griezmann  as well and he can be hit or miss at times. I would recommend playing him upfront as an advanced forward. He performed very well as a lone striker for me but has been incredible since i started playing him with a strike partner. 16 goals and 12 assists in 19 premier league games so far this seasons.
