I can't take any credit for this Arsenal game I am playing at the minute but thanks to the link from JDOWNIE (on page 2 of this thread) about his takeover he had with them in his game I went on hols to the end of the season (just so I could get a side which felt like my side rather than someone elses) and the board came back with my budget below for the new season.

Although imo the squad I found myself with after downloading this game wasn't the strongest he did manage to finish 2nd,1st,1st in 3 years which is credit to him. I just thought i'd post on here as I have never before seen a transfer budget as Massive as this one and although it's July 2016 on the game this will def be one of the best last game saves to play before FM14 comes out and I can't wait to splash the cash lol

As future owner of the Tycoon thread I respectfully ask Rossini to not post in the thread if he doesn't have anything insightful or positive to add :brock:

If you don't want to read about tycoons, don't click the "tycoon saves" thread, please.

ANYWAY, Newcastle save has crazy money - similar to my Arsenal side (which I'll get to in a minute :D) but much earlier in the save so more likely to be fun. I won't give it a download because I already have a Newcastle save and I don't want to taint the memories of it :D but it does look like that'd be one helluva fun game.

Chewy - that budget is insane! :lol: Almost £500M to spend (albeit not taking into account wages) is by far and away the most amount available I've ever seen in any FM game. Even on FM11 with City, the highest budgets I ever got were only 250m (did I really just type 'only'!?). Hope you enjoy it :thup: And cheers, the squad I built wasn't particularly strong 'on paper' (on screen?) - but it worked my system beautifully hence me sticking with those players. Howson, Frimpong, Coquelin? :D Worked, though. Quite proud of what I achieved with that side, it was all about the tactic I had. Only regret was not being able to win the Champions League before I gave up on the save. I still have it, could always go back to it I suppose, but nah.

Central Coast Mariners got taken over by a tycoon right at the start of one of my games, got around £12.75m to spend which is pretty useless in Australia but still interesting

how does the board respond to the "new money" are they willing to expand the stadium, new training, new youth etc etc

I could be fun to make them into a "super power" by having top of the class facilities so they would bring on some excellent youth players

N/p Also Dresden may get taken over by a tycoon in your save and also a team from division b in spain forgot the name they both failed in my save but you never know.

Owner allows for facilities to be upgraded etc. i dont think you have to ask he did just do it on mine, he wants you to sign high profile players and make Central Coast a dominant force.

The save uses one of Nik's summer updates cant remember which but its not the latest may be the one before Bale transfer.

I could attract players like Klasnic, Bikey, Simeon Jackson. But you already have a Marquee signing who isnt the best and i dont think he's worth that spot but here it is ! Have fun :D

I have retired my manager from Inter Milan and uploaded the save for any of you guys who want to have a bit of fun with this already amazing team! Wow. That is ridiculous. This is the most extravagent Tycoon save I've seen. The JDownie Arsenal one was good, but this one is even better considering the budget, and the players you start with. £500m to spend but already with Bale, Neymar, Alaba and Cavani, where would the money even go? Might have to give this a download and have a quick play!

In the same save, Thun (Swiss 1st division) got taken over by a south korean tycoon. He invested €40M in the club and this is what he offers after rejecting the initial budgets:

Date is 20th of August 2014. I'm actually going to stop what I was doing in this save and play with Thun. If anyone is interested, I'll upload the save. Might be fun to challenge Basel for the swiss supremacy first. :)

Ta for this by the way. Think ive bankrupt the club by spending £1.02B, although this is spread throughout 48 months for most transfers. Built the below squad and hoping to go the season unbeaten.

GK: De Gea

RB: Danilo / Smalling

CB: Jones / Hummels

CB: Varane / Evans

LB: Baines / Alaba

MCL: Busquets / Cabaye

MCR: Sandro / Wilshere

AML: C. Ronaldo / Bale

Then got Fabregas, Welbeck and Taarabt just incase we get a lot of injuries.
