Game Three

Lewis Davies - Had a fairly decent run out with Standard, he played in all 6 of their matches and came up with 2 assists playing well most of the time, it wasn't enough though as they crashed out at the first hurdle.

Patty Hitman - Definitely a season to forget for the Irishman, Porto were eliminated in the Group stages and despite playing all 6 games Patty never really got going.

Whoopy Dee'e - Rangers rarely see success in the CL and this season was no different, Whoopy played 100% of games and was one of the better performers but they still went home early.

Lawrence Lazewski Jr - Did his best to inspire Slavia Prague to glory but no surprise that he couldn't manage it. He must've done something to impress in his 6 games though because January saw him move to sunny Spain and Atletico Madrid.

AJ Kerr - Did well enough in goal for Besiktas, he kept 2 clean sheets and helped them to 4 draws only losing to Barcelona in the whole competition.

Tyler Burrows - Despite FC Twente's early exit their Goalie had a very good campaign, 5 clean sheets and a MoM to boot, the only blemish coming against Barcelona when he conceded 5 goals.

Allan Juel Hansen - Started the campaign with a bang coming up with 3 assists in a 5-0 win over Debrecen, however it was downhill from their and he featuerd only 3 more times as Real Madrid were eliminated in the Group Stages.

Des Tiny - Was faced with a tough task at Debrecen, bottom of the Group with no points and 21 goals against I'm sure Des jumped at the chance when Fiorentina came calling and he went on to have a good season in Italy.

Sam Fisher - Started very well for Salzburg as he scored the winner on Matchday One against Olypiakos. In the return game Fisher was again on good form collecting a brace to end the campaign with 3 goals in 6 games, Salzburg put up a good fight but couldn't find a way through to the next round and lost their star man to Chelsea for £7.25m.

Charles Beams - Only played 3 times for the Greeks and did very little to impress, Tottenham saw enough though and £12m was enough to lure him to London.

Gunter Hess - Didn't play a single minute for Dinamo and was sold to Inter for a handy £14m, however he didn't play anymore for his new club than he did at his old.

Richard Lipscombe - Unirea never stood much chance even with Richard Lipscombe playing all 6 games. Their solitary win in the competition wasn't enough to convince him to stay and Real Madrid paid £15m for his services.

Mr T - Missed the early games for Bordeuax and only featured in the final two. A shame as his side might not have been eliminated at the first hurdle had he played more.

Craig Hopper - Rubin have not got much use out of their main man, spent 11 weeks of the season injured which might explain his zero participation in the CL.

Maz - A tough Group means one of the big boys has to go home early and this time it was Atletico Madrid, Maz did all he could including scoring in the final game and playing well in his 5 others but it wasn't good enough.

Bruton Gaster - Did very little in his 5 games for Levski, made a move to Stoke where he did very well scoring 14 goals in 22 games.

Santi Marquez - Started well for Bayern scoring in the opening game and grabbed himself another against Levski. Bayern progressed to the knockout round where Marquez scored once again but they were knocked out by Sevilla.

V.W. Delight - Had another very good season, scoring 4 goals in his 8 games, 2 assists and 2 MoM's. Impressive stats but it still wasn't enough to see AC past Barcelona in the first knockout round though.

Fatboy - Wolfsburg were eliminated in the first knockout round by Marseille, Fatboy played in 8 of their CL games and dd well enough without really impressing too much.

Mario-Luigi vdB - Only played the 2 knockout round games as CSKA crashed out to Liverpool, didn't do too much in either game.

Jack Browne - Sporting CP were very lucky to have this man as he scored 2 crucial goals in the Group stages, his first in a 2-3 win over Chelsea and his 2nd being the winner against Olypiakos. His performance even inspired them to a 2-1 win over Man Utd in the first leg but the English side rallied and won the 2nd leg 5-0.

Mattie Short - Had a very good time at Inter: 3 assists, 2 goals and 2 MoM saw his avg rating over 7.5 over the course of his 7 games. Unfortunately Chelsea edged them out on away goals in the first knockout round.

William Hall - Again had a very good season, 6 games and 1 MoM but Juventus still went out in the first knockout round, they were without Hall though as he headed off to Chelsea in January for £22m.

Ivan Matkovic - AZ did very well to get this far and Matkovic helped along the way, a goal and an assist in the Group Stages and even a goal in the 2nd leg of their game against Fiorentina but eventually the Italian side came out on top.

Mikael Scholer - Quickly became no1 at Barcelona and played 9 times, keeping 4 clean sheets but conceding 7 along the way. The most important turned out to be the last as a 92nd minute Vidic goal saw Man Utd eliminate them in the 1/4 finals

Super Lampard - Sevilla did very well to reach the 1/4 finals and Super Lampard was a big help. In his 7 games he managed 1 goal and 1 assist but 2 MoM's and an avg rating of 7.51 show that he really did have a big effect on the side.

Fergy - Marseille were another side who did fantastically to get here, Fergy contributed 2 goals and 3 assists in his 10 games and became a vital part of the team, the semi finals proved a step to far though as they went down to Liverpool.

Ihsaan Ahmed - Fiorentina pulled off a big shock reaching the semi finals and Ihsaan Ahmed was very much at the centre of it. He scored in both legs of the 1/4 finals to help them beat Sevilla as well as a winner against Real Madrid in the Group Stage. He ended up with 4 goals in 11 games and a couple of assists.

Kenco - Liverpool have won this competition the last 2 years so Kenco must've been feeling good and with good reason as they almost pulled it off again reaching the smie finals. The right winger had a stellar season, scoring 4 times and making 3 goals which no doubt helped his 2 MoM awards.

Joe Tompkins - Another to have a very good season with Man Utd, he scored 3 times in his 13 games the most importnat coming against Barcelona in the 1/4 finals. He can be proud of his season having played in the final but fallen just short at the very last minute.

Joeri Scheerlinck - Lyon decided not to use him at all and in January he switched to Man Utd for just under £6m. It almost turned out to be a fantastic move as Scheerlink played 7 times creating 3 goals and even appearing in the final.

Jan Klaas - Definitely got one of the better teams and he's made the most of it, 11 games for the London club saw him reach the Champions League Final. He was solid if unspectacular for the whole season and that was true in the final as well until the 74th minute when he had to be subbed through injury. Juliano Belleti was his replacement and it was he who would score the winner in the 89th minute as Chelsea avenge their loss to Utd in 2008.

Winner Game Three - Jan Klaas

Games - 11

Goals - 0

Assists - 1

Avg Rating - 6.78

For those not as smart as Kenco, here's the list for Game 4:

I am pretty smart.

I am predicting Liverpool to come back and win again, since they alwayss win when I'm not there. Me being a huge Liverpool fan (as in I like them alot, I'm not fat) makes it that much harder to take.

Liking the most recent style or the varying styles? I've been trying to decide which is the best way of doing them so feedback is always welcome.

Both tbh, I did notice you've done your updates in different styles and all of them are good

Also CSKA
