Liverpool, now here is my chance :p

Winner Game 5 - Des Tiny

Games - 3(4)

Goals - 0

Assists - 4

MoM - 0

Avg Rating - 7.2

Which of course means -

Game Six Winner -

Des Tiny

The Romanian becomes the first player to score back to back wins of the competition and in doing so takes the lead with 2 wins to all the other winners 1 win. He wasn't always first choice at Barcelona but he played plenty and made the most of the opportunity.

Like you need more chances ;)

Game Eight

Joe Tompkins - A surprise early exit for AC Milan as they finish bottom of the group, a dislocated shoulder seriously limited Tompkins playing time but he did manage one game.

Craig Hopper - Another surprise in this group with Porto being the other team to go home, Hopper played in 5 of their matches but was largely forgetable in all of them.

Kenco - Had a fairly good campaign for Rangers, he scored and came up with 2 assists but despite his efforts Rangers are out.

Richard Lipscombe - Played in all 6 of his sides matches and didn't do half bad, he grabbed a goal along the way but much better was needed if they wanted to go through.

Charles Beams - Had a good run by all accounts, he grabbed just the one goal in his six games but was certainly among FC TWente's best performers.

William Hall - CSKA pay the price for not using him at all and finish bottom of the group, a January transfer may suit him well if the right option presents itself.

Mario Luigi vdB - Had a wonderful time of it for Debrecen, he scored to earn his side a 1-1 draw with Man Utd and did the same again against Real Madrid, he scored a brace to earn a win over Fiorentina and one in a loss to the Italian side to take him to 5 goals in 5 games. His team did not replicate his successes however and are eliminated.

V.W. Delight - Did very little as Fiorentina finish bottom of the group, he played five of their matches but could only muster one goal.

Joeri Scheerlinck - Did his best to inspire Salzburg but that's never easy, he was solid in his 6 games but you need to be more than solid to achieve anything more than bottom of the group.

Lewis Davies - Was in fine form for the Greek side in all 6 of his matches, he may only have chipped in with 1 assist along the way but his performances were deserving of more than their early elimination.

Sam Fisher - Gave his absoloute best to try and see Unirea through: 1 goal, 1 assist, 2 MoM's and an avg rating of 7.45 show just how hard he tried but they still come up 6 points short.

Fergy - Would've done just as much for Dinamo had he been given the chance, no CL games for the striker but his domestic form is quite incredible.

Whoopy Dee'e - Rubin were bound to struggle and without playing Whoopy their chances only decreased, no surprises they end up bottom.

Maz - Sevilla were the other casualty of this group and despite playing six times Maz never really got going, generally poor performances from the former champ.

Super Lampard - Was in fact super for Levski, the striker may have only scored once in his 6 games but his performances did not go unoticed, an avg rating of 7.45 playing for the team that finished last in the group is quite impressive.

Patty Hitman - Last but not least Bayern are eliminated in the Group Stage, not much to say about Patty, he played just the once and was average at best.

AJ Kerr - Didn't play at all in the Group Stages but played both of their knockout round games, he kept a clean sheet in the first but conceded 3 in the second and Lyon are out.

Ivan Matkovic - Did very well just getting Standard this far, his 3 goals certainly helped them out of a tough Group and his goal against Chelsea in the knockout round almost saw them pull off a surprise here.

Gunter Hess - Played all of Man Utd's eight games but made little impact in any of them, a surprise loss so early in the competition to Bordeaux.

Des Tiny - Only played 4 times for Liverpool and didn't do much in those games, eliminated easily by Barcelona.

Mr T - Only played twice for Besiktas but played well in both games, helping them progress this far was probably more than he expected.

Tyler Burrows - Kept clean sheets in hald of his 8 games although he did concede 9 along the way, Sporting do well to reach this stage and could've gone further if not for Marseille.

Mattie Short - Injuries limited him to only 5 games for Juventus but he did really well when he played, the Italian side will be disappointed not to have had him available more often as with him they might have reached the next round.

Bruton Gaster - A very impressive performance from AZ as a team but Gaster was at the heart of it, 2 goals and some very good performances in his 8 games helped the Dutch side get this far. A surprise to most but in the end they fall short against Atletico Madrid.

Allan Juel Hansen - Despite playing 7 games for Atletico he never really got into the swing of things, average performances and nothing of real note except that his team made the 1/4 finals of course.

Mikael Scholer - Was definitely one of the reasons Bordeaux did so well, 6 clean sheets in his 9 game and only conceding 5 goals along the way and 3 of those came in the 1/4 final against Barcelona.

Jack Browne - Helped Marseille to an impressive season in the CL, his personal performances weren't the best and in his 8 games his most notable actions would be his 5 yellows and 1 red card.

Lawrence Lazewski Jr - Was doing well for Wolfsburg in the Group Stages as he played all 6 games and impressed in all. The German team did well to get this far although the latter stages were negotiated without Lazewski as for some reason he moved to Toulouse FC in January.

Santi Marquez - Played 9 times for Chelsea and pitched in with 3 goals as well as an assist. He was undoubtedly very good and it could well be his best season to date, however it still wasn't enough to secure the Spainiard a final appearance.

Fatboy - Was a real rock at the back for Real Madrid as he played 11 times and guided them to the semi's. Some much needed stability at the back was definitely making Madrid look like a real threat this season but they fall short at the very last minute.

Ihsaan Ahmed - Had a wonderful season for the Italian side playing all 13 of their games in the run to the final. He scored for fun throughout the competition and ends with 7 goals and even came up with 2 assists. His appearance in the final was going fairly well until he was subbed in the 83rd minute having picked up a knock earlier in the match and unfortunately he doesn't get the winners medal his season deserved.

Jan Klaas - Therefore becomes the 2nd person to win the competition twice, first at Chelsea and now with Barcelona the central midfielder levels things up with Des Tiny. He was of course involved in 100% of their games in the CL and played pretty damn well along the way. He finished the season with 2 goals with the pick of the two coming in a 4-2 win over Liverpool. The final itself was a boring afair and after 120 minutes things were still level so penalties would decide the winner, Davide Santon missed for Inter and fittingly it was Carlse Puyol who sealed the victory.

GAME EIGHT WINNER - JAN KLAAS

Games - 13

Goals - 2

Assists - 2

MoM - 1

Avg Rating - 7.13

Game Nine

Tyler Burrows - Six games and concdeded 3 goals but 4 clean sheets for Porto, not good enough to make it to the next round.

Jan Klaas - Last years winner played all six games but was not good enough to inspire a lowly Standard to anything other then bottom.

Lewis Davies - Struggled at Rangers, playing all six matches but he can't do it all on his own.

Mario-Luigi vdB - No games, no nothing and Slavia Prague finish bottom.

Mr T - Only two games and poor performances mean FC Twente are out in a flash.

Super Lampard - Sparkling domestic form counts for nothing when you don't play in Europe and your team finish bottom.

Fatboy - Solid in all six of his games but not good enough to put Fiorentina through ahead of the big boys in this Group.

Bruton Gaster - Two goals in six games is a good return especially for a bottom of the Group Debrecen, was very good and deserves better than the single point his team earned.

Mattie Short - Injuries have hindered him a little and consequently he only played 4 games for Salzburg, his performances were decent though and helped them to a third place finish in the Group.

Mikael Scholer - Had an OK time of it with Olympiakos and although he conceded 5 goals in 5 games he did manage one clean sheet.

Sam Fisher - As usual the poor ol Dinamo players get no play time in Europe.

William Hall - Probably wishes he didn't have to play for Unirea as they finish bottom, however other than their Goalkeeper, Hall was by far their best player of the campaign.

Santi Marquez - Scored on the opening day in a 3-1 win and went on to play a total of 4 games, he missed the final 2 through suspension having been sent off against Bordeaux and without him AZ crash out.

Charles Beams - Didn't play at all for Rubin and they finish bottom, no surprises there.

Jack Browne - Five decent but unspectacular performances from Browne and from Bayern see them go home earlier than they would've liked.

Patty Hitman - Played really well for Levski in all six games and even scored once in the process, earning them one of their two points in a 3-3 draw with Bayern.

Whoopy Dee'e - Played well in his 7 games for Atletico, unfortunately they don't make it further than the first knockout round.

Lawrence Lazewski Jr - Started in fantastic form for AC Milan scoring once in each of their opening 3 games, after that the goals dried up but he continued to impress until their early exit.

V.W. Delight - Hasn't played for Besiktas despite them making it this far, they may have gone further without him but we'll never know.

Craig Hopper - Made 7 appearances for Sevilla although 5 of those were as a sub and he suffered for it with his general performances being average at best.

Ihsaan Ahmed - Has been very good in the League which is why it's a mystery the French side didn't see fit to play him in Europe.

AJ Kerr - Conceded 5 goals in his 5 games between the sticks for Sporting, he did manage 2 clean sheets but wasn't good enough to prevent their exit.

Joe Tompkins - Only a single goal in his eight games didn't stop Tompkins being Bordeaux's best player, he came up with four assists and it's no fault of his they're out.

Des Tiny - Made 5 appearances but all were from the bench, safe to say the Germans didn't make best use of our former two time winner.

Gunter Hess - Played 8 times for Barcelona and whilst he did come up with 2 assists was very forgetable for the remainder of his time on the pitch.

Maz - Another good season as he comes up with 3 goals in his 10 games, a couple of MoM's and a high avg rating but still Juventus can't rech the semi finals.

Joeri Scheerlinck - Was another to have a good campaign as he also grabbed three goals although only playing 9 times. Marseille had a good run out largely thanks to this man.

Kenco - Only started one of his five games for Real Madrid but he has got some competition to be fair, a disappointing loss to Man Utd in the 1/4 Finals.

Richard Lipscombe - Played nine times for Man Utd in their run to the semi's but was pretty poor in truth, just one assist to his name and very little else to write home about.

Fergy - Quite the opposite, formed a formidable strike partnership with Drogba and scored no less than five times in his nine games, a very good season by anyones standards and the only player to outperform him at Chelsea was his strike partner.

Ivan Matkovic - When he's played he's been pretty damn good for Liverpool but his opportunities have been limited nevertheless in his six games he scored three goals and would no doubt have liked to play more. However it doesn't seem Liverpool valued his undoubted talents and he wasn't even able to make it onto the pitch during the final.

Game Nine Winner - Allan Juel Hansen

Just like his oppoenent in the final Allan has not played much for Inter this season, in fact only five times. But he sure has made an impact, he has scored three goals and managed as many assists as well as two MoM's, one of them being the final itself. He's had a tough season with first an achilles injury and then a torn hamstring meaning he missed a combined 6 months of the season but Juel Hansen came back strong and goes on to win the Champions League

Games - 5

Goals - 3

Assists - 3

MoM - 2

Avg Rating - 7.54

Game Ten

Gunter Hess - A decent season at Standard saw him appear six time and even bag himself a goal, third place in the Group was all they could manage but that's not a bad result to be honest.

AJ Kerr - Injuries kept him out for most of the campaign and he only played once, Porto finish a disappointing bottom of the Group.l

Mikael Scholer - Played all six games for Rangers and although he conceded 10 times he did manage 1 MoM and 2 clean sheets. Rangers go out in third place with Scholer their top performer.

Bruton Gaster - Six games, no goals and generally poor performances and we're not even talking about Gaster yet, Slavia Prague go home with no points.

V.W. Delight - Only played 4 games but did manage to score against Besiktas in the final game however FC Twente still finish dead last.

Kenco - Played all 6 games for Fiorentina but was pretty terrible the whole way through and the Italian side are out at the first hurdle.

Santi Marquez - Five game and one goal for the Mexican is a fair return for Debrecen, despite his decent form they finish bottom.

Joe Tompkins - Was in sensational form for Olympiakos, two goals and four assists in his six games made him by far their best performer but his team mates were unable to meet his high standards and the Greeks only finish 3rd.

Maz - Five games but nothing to shout about in any of them, was woeful for the majority of his time on the pitch and Salzburg finish last.

William Hall - Doesn't play for Dinamo and they crash out, fingers crossed for a January transfer eh?

Super Lampard - Although he failed to find the net in his six games he was by far Unirea's best player, unfortunately the quality of player around him didn't match his ability.

Fergy - Scored once in his six outings but was clearly not very good the rest of the time he was on the pitch, comes away with an avg rating of 6.4.

Mr T - Doesn't like Russia much as Rubin fail to use the defender despite the fact he's clearly A-Team quality.

Charles Beams - Played excellently for Atletico coming up with two assists and a goal, unfortunately not even that was enough in a tough group and they only finish third.

Jack Browne - Was solid for Levski, playing in all six games but his only action of note was a single assist and that wasn't enough to prevent a bottom of the pile finish.

Mario-Luigi vdB - Seemed to be in good form for Man Utd, he scored 3 times in his 7 games and managed 2 assists as well so his 6.62 avg rating is quite puzzling.

Allan Juel Hansen - Would've wanted to do well coming off the back of a win but in fact did horribly, only two games played for Lyon and he was rubbish in both.

Joeri Scheerlinck - Played in all eight of Bayerns games and was pretty good for the most part, grabbed a single goal but couldn't stop the Germans going out to Chelsea.

Mattie Short - Was in fine form for Marseille scoring twice in his eight games and grabbing two MoM's, one of their top performers and probably deserved a longer run in the competition.

Fatboy - Was going really well for Besiktas having scored twice in six games and leading the team to the knockout stage however a move to West Ham meant he didn't get to play any further part and the Turkish side pay the price.

Craig Hopper - Was a creative sensation in his six games for Juventus providing three goals for his team mates which made him one of their better players this campaign.

Lawrence Lazewski Jr - May be the reason Bordeaux reached this stage with four goals in his eight games and the only surprise being his single MoM. Was easily the best for Bordeaux and is unfortunate to go out.

Ihsaan Ahmed - Played all eight games for Sporting and did pretty well too, notching up a couple of goals and assists but ultimately his average performance wasn't the best and Sporting are out.

Ivan Matkovic - Was playing very well for Wolfsburg and had scored 3 times in 4 games during the Group stage but a transfer to Bordeaux saw him play no further part in the German sides run to the 1/4 finals.

Jan Klaas - Was right up their amongst Liverpools best playing ten games and scoring twice, the influential midfielder is unlucky to crash out to Barcelona on away goals.

Tyler Burrows - An integral part of Sevillas run late into the competition, nine games played and five clean sheets makes impressive reading and up until the 1/4 finals against Real Madrid Burrows had only conceded one goal.

Des Tiny - Played eight times for AC Milan but struggled to really get going, his performances were good but nothing special and certainly not enough for Milan to make it past Chelsea.

Whoopy Dee'e - It was the seasons of two's for Whoopy, two goals, two assists and two MoM's in his ten games inspired Inter all the way to the semi's only for them to fall short at the last hurdle.

Patty Hitman - Clearly they don't like Irishmen in Russia, CSKA don't give him a single minute in Europe however that turns out to be a blessing after a £10m move to Inter where he scored once in his two games.

Lewis Davies - Played 5 times in the Group stages for Real Madrid before moving to Fiorentina in January, in the end it makes no difference as Madrid go out but still a silly move in my opinion.

Sam Fisher - After playing 5 games for Chelsea in the Group stages and doing incredibly well (2 goals and 3 assists) Real Madrid came calling and took Sam to Spain, in the end it's Chelsea who're laughing as they have £16m and a place in the Champions League final whilst Fisher and Real Madrid have nothing.

Richard Lipscombe - Was left as the only player able to win the tournament this year and he had a great chance with Barcelona, previous to the final Lipscombe was in fantastic form. He'd played 11 times and scored 6 goals as well as chipping in with 4 assists, surely the in form striker could fire Barcelona to a trophy? As it turns out, no he could not. Chelsea ran out 2-1 winners meaning for the first time ever we have no winner this season. How do you feel now Sam Fisher?

Winner Game Ten - Nobody
