New Laptop
Simple since most of the people on these forums (not all I know) are from Britain, although we here use the UK Pound Sterling does anyone use the € to almost fit in with the rest of the European teams?? Spleen!
I always use the £, it's easiest as it's familiar.

MeLikeFM
i used to use euros but my mates would have a look of disgust when i told them some of my transfer fees because they used pounds so now i use pounds
Mike7077
I use pounds but, hopefully, the UK will join the euro someday and I will then have to use that.

Orion Dean
The pound is nearing parity with the euro, gonna cost alot more now to buy european players!
Amaroq
I'm American, but I use £ instead of $ as I tend to play in England. I'd probably use € if I were playing a Continental team, and $ if I were managing in MLS.
Akaz1976
I use $ (i am Canadian) even though i play mostly English leagues. I started with $ because i was use to that currency. Lately i have thought about converting to Pounds since most people here use them and its easier explaining things when using same currency as everyone else. But now i am so use to $ values (whats is the 'right' wage for specific level of player etc) that i don't think i can switch
bored101
But now i am so use to $ values (whats is the 'right' wage for specific level of player etc) that i don't think i can switch thats how i feel when i go a team in europe im so used to the pound and know the right amount for transfers and wages that if i play in europe i stick with the pound. i have tried euroes to make it more realistic but it does throw me off a little but i guess i just need to get used to that and it will be fine. can you change the currency throughoutthe game? such as if you went from usa to england to spain? Harryseaess
I use £'s. I would find it too confusing when bidding for players having to work out how much the player is actually worth if I was using €'s...
TomHAVFC
I use pounds but, hopefully, the UK will join the euro someday and I will then have to use that. Why do you think that? I'd much rather have our own currency.
rotku
€ for me, though being Irish I'm used to mainly reading about transfers in England (which are in £) so it does make some of the transfer amounts in the game seem a bit unrealistic until I do the exchange rate math and realise it's normal. tomtuck01
The Pound(£) and the Euro(€) are pretty much value the same at the minute, (€1.00 = £0.91 right now), but in FM this is not the case, so I stick with good old sterling.
Kain
I use £, just because its what I'm used to.
