Although he only scored 34 goals last season, not good enough I think. After winning the everything with Nottingham Forest I just splashed out money on players for fun. (Yes his contract is ridiculous but I had to get him from United) (Once again, not the best contract negotiator it seems) Those are the three, all look pretty decent I'd say? eple Posted November 22, 2013 Share Posted November 22, 2013 Jordi was signed for just £200k from Prat. He looked decent, but didn't expect him to become a world class striker. After a year of tutoring he went to Twente on loan. He was promised first team football but only played 9 games. Still, his development was through the roof. He spent one year on the fringes in my team, but still managed 18 goals. Since then he has played 3 seasons getting around a goal pr game. He frustrates me a little bit through, because when he is 'on' he is unstoppable, but he goes on goal drought where he get's rating of 5 for 3-4 games in a row, where he can't score despite getting plenty of easy chances. Mesquida was a Monaco product and thus had to fork out a lot more, £7.75m. I play him in a deeper role and he does scores a a lot of goals, but has a few weaknesses like only a weak left foot and lack of bravery. He does better when he covers for Jordi as an advanced forward. I have high hopes for this lad. Amazing level at such a young age. Signed for £15m from Malaga. No way in he'll is he worth £10mil, imo. He might have huge PA but he doesn't have any good weighting in the key areas for a forward. Terrible composure, can't jump, can't run, can't finish. I know he's only 15, but I don't see it Remember he's rated 5* PA, it has nothing to do with whether the key attributes will be high. I think his CA star ratings would suffer if you selected different roles, as he fails to have a good weighting in the key technical areas for most forward roles. However, he's only 15 and those can easily be increased. He's got really good composure, off the ball, and teamwork/work rate for a youngster. Plus he's quick. Yeah thats why I went for it only 56k compensation... scouts reported 4 stars but the scouts are really poor. I was just thinking he would be a world beater if the at any physical attributes at all. I also bet his injury proneness is through the roof!.. On another note i nicked a kid of west ham with impeccable mental attributes its unreal.. If it says has the potential to be a Premier League star, then you're onto something. In my first season for AC Milan Andrea Poli was worth £22M and PSG came for an offer of £41M. He wasn't even playing that well, only avg rating of 7.02, what I'm saying is you could play a player regulary and get more for him than what he's really worth. Another example, Niang sold him to PSG for £23M, Sampdoria 4 seasons later have bought him for only £6M. Back to your Frenchy, is he worth £63M ???? HELL NO !!!!! I only keep strikers who I develop no older then the age of 19 with finishing, composure and off the ball all a minimum of 19. He wouldn't even make my reserve team. So back to the story months ago, was he worth £30M ??? NO. Is he worth £30M now ??? YES. In my save, world class Regens get asking prices of $50m+, and that is non negotiable. So if you can snag a player you know s going to be world class, $30m is a fair price, because if you want him, you will have to pay it, or pay double that later on.
