Royal Mail are expecting a further strike on Thursday and Friday this week which may cause a slight delay with this item. We despatch goods as soon as they arrive at our warehouse from the supplier and always try our best to send out and deliver pre-order items as close to the release date as possible. We aim to send the item out a few days prior the release date in the hope that you will receive the item on or as close to the 30/10 as possible. Its about time SI took their heads out of their backsides and said the release date is brought forward to tomorrow. They could also clarify the release date of the patch rather than stay silent and throw a strop when people ask a simple question. I haven't bothered with the demo but look forward to the game. Its just a pity there's so much childishness from a section of the community and the developpers about clarifying issues on the release date which are painfully obvious today. I have pre-ordered mine, not fussed when it arrives, it means I can get on with real life, e.g drinking, chasing girls, talking to real people etc The lengths some people go to is unreal. I'm suprised a plan hasn't been devised to intercept courriers with batons and extort copies from the drivers, it wouldn't seem too far fetched judging by a few of you. As far as I see it, Shopto make sure their customers get it for release day guarnteed, and provide a couple of shipping methods to the customer to make sure this happens. Zavvi dont, but due to location can offer a lower price than shopto, but make no guarntee about delivery. So if you deffo want it be release day, order via shopto and pay a few extra quid, or be prepared to wait, and get it cheaper. Theres nothing unfair in my eyes. Theres a choice for the customer, and if Zavvi wanted to offer extra shipping methods, they could if they wanted. It coming early is just a nice bonus!! I can understand the youngsters being desperate to get it but surely adults with jobs don't want to spend their precious weekend in front of a computer screen? The estimated dispatch date is the 30th though so won't get it until next week, but like others have said that's worth saving over a tenner for. Now it's only processing and not awaiting stock pick as before. Feel it's kind of bad they don't send out emails when this happens, if I wouldn't have checked the order I would never know the payment never could be completed (for whatever reason). They seem to be able to reserve a tiny amount on my account, so there shouldn't be a problem for them to charge for the full payment surely?
