How is this offside?

I know in real life this type of errors exist but it's a game, it's supposed to be efficient. Odegaard shot the ball, Vallejo headed it in and the linesman said it was offside. Like, really?

When the game calls offside, it normally shows you why in a replay? Did it not this time?

Oh, and referee mistakes are still possible, as in real life.

I know they are possible but it's a game, I want efficiency, not realism in this aspect. I think FIFA and PES don't have this in.

but if referees didn't make mistakes, who would i blame? because it sure as hell ain't my fault, or my teams whenever i concede a gial... ;-)

It's a simulation of football the way it is right now... and referee mistakes are a part of the game...

FIFA also includes referee mistakes.

Actually I think basically every football game does.

Football games are simulations, therefore they have to be realistic.

Basically, what the two above me said. It's a lot less frustrating when those decisions go for you though

I had a commentary line of something along the lines of 'Newcastle players seem convinced the ball was over the line, Doesn't look like they had a case' I think that means the referees alarm never went off to say goal

I want headbutts, face slaps and managers sent to the stands, I want to be sent to the stand............ can't even step out of my technical area though.

First Rule of FM:

Animation has nothing to do with the ME, the game create a calculation thats the ME and then tries to represent it with the animation and fails a lot.

That is different because this is a LEGAL issue

I've had players caught in bars before although a long time ago. It was a youth player in a Conference South team, as if the press would recognise him.

Some of that stuff is included in this version (players going out in clubs and missing training etc.) and others have been in previous versions.

Legally though SI would be in trouble if they added in some of those features you listed, Mario Balotelli's agent might become a bit concerned that a video game kept showing his client fighting his team mates and could sue for defamation of character, therefore certain things aren't added into the game purely for legal reasons.

It's only with newgens, not real players. (Can't be for legal reasons).

They are I'm pretty sure.

Mistakes happen, some go your way some don't. Would be a pretty rubbish simulation if referee/linesman errors weren't included.
