pratik Posted January 13, 2009 Share Posted January 13, 2009 just had a great season with liverpool, but the best part was my young striker, Mattia Falco (regen), 20 years old, managed to get me a 100 goals in the season, and 50 in the league. I can only dream of having such a regen striker for my team. I hope in 10-20 years we get a youth academy and produce something one third as good as that regen. Enjoy having him while it lasts. the edge Posted January 14, 2009 Share Posted January 14, 2009 Sorry to be such a sceptic, but from what I know a player with maximum ability (CA 200) can only have something like 16 for all attributes. Looking at those stats, the average is more like 17 to 18. I have a hard time believing that any player can develop naturally into that, unless something has changed since FM08. Now I expect the usual "You've cheated" jibes - but a) - There is not an editor for Mac, so thats impossible firstly. and b) - My credibility in the CSE forum speaks for itself, especially after getting the extremely average Paul Wallace to score over 1,000 goals in a 19 year career. So I don't really see the need for doubting that achievement (which I, BTW, already know about). Having a really good player score loads of goals in a poor league isn't hard to believe.
