Personally i don't think so, there's been lots of fm10 threads recently and i feel this is an interesting thread but i respect your opinion

Install it then select Man City to see how much cash they get and check the stats on a few players.

Sunderland.

Because I support them.

To win champions league with Sunderland, get Nantwich to the Prem, Create a tactic that plays like Barcelonas, break the top 2 in Spain with Valencia or Getafe, get regens to break all of Sunderlands player records, become a legend at at least one club.

3) Why are you going to be that team? Because Inter has talents as Bolzoni, Santon and Boriello, i love to watch them getting better each season, Kobenhavn because I did well with them in FM09

4) What are your aims for that team? For Inter - winning Serie A each season, replacing old stars with fresh young talents / For Kobenhavn - reach the knock-out stages of CL as soon as possible, build strong team with help of regens

5)What are your main aims for this years game? Finally get superstar regen from youth academy and develop him to best player in his position

The challenge is fantastic. I love not knowing where I am going to be and the unpredictably that the challenge brings. That is why I buy football manager, for not knowing what's going to happen between the days.

Just to get as high as I can with that team. It is obviously going to be difficult, but it is what will bring me back to the game every day

Not playing 09 at the moment.

Install it and have a look around. Check the data and then check to see how quickly it runs and how responsive it is. Then probably put it back on the shelf until the February patch is out because I have learnt my lesson from the past two editions.

(I hope to be proved totally wrong about this.)

If I like FM10 then I will, no doubt, start a game with St. Albans City.

3) Why are you going to be that team?

Because I watch them in real life, I'm the researcher for them and they are my favourite club.

Stabilise and then try to take to the BSP.

Leave it in the cupboard and try not to look at it again after we had a massive falling out.

I will buy if the demo is acceptable etc. If the wizard makes more sense than early signs are showing, if the ME improves massively to the standard of FM07's MEs, both of which look extremely unlikely, I might buy. I've spent nearly £700 on SI products (including improvements made to new PC to run FM09) and I'm not going to spend another penny unless they can show that they can make a game that is fit to have the same brand name as FM07. They've had two attempts and have failed.

Teams will be decided in my mind during the rest of the window. Real are a certainty at some point though.

Put it on my desk and spend 5 hours gazing at it lovingly, completely unaware of the bug-ridden horrors and failure-induced heartaches that await me.

It'll be either Liverpool or a Blue Square South team.

Liverpool because they've recently become my "other" team that I enjoy watching (despite what my username says ), and the other because I like LLM.

LLM: Build a club from nothing and either get them to the Premiership and beyond, or go club hopping i.e. career game.

To do more seasons than I have before (the most I've ever done is 3 before I've either got bored or something went wrong). That and to enjoy it, and try and ignore any bugs I come across. Can't guarantee the last one though.

1) Quick game - look around, get used to the changes, new players, new powers (Man C etc.), scout like mad ready for a proper game. Bitch a lot, no doubt that I'm only losing because it's cheating, broken, stupid - whatever excuses I can make stick in my head:D

2) After my scouting, when I'll probably pick Man U - they have great scouts, and I'd NEVER EVER be them, for ANY OTHER REASON - then almost certainly my beloved Gooners.

Have just been promoted to BSP, and am about to have my ass handed on a plate, I suspect. Getting to legendary status, winning the PRM and CL will probably take me AT LEAST until FM10 comes out. If not, then probably some bizarre league for a change, SOuth Africa I quite fancy, no idea why. Also fancy the MLS cos of the weird draft system - really wanna get a feel for that if I can, but as I said, doubt I'll have the time. Oh, yeah, and win the world cup with Malta - I'm Maltese, so I always try, and fail, the impossible, but that doesn' take long before I give it up as futile, cos I don't cheat and create good newgens or anything!

Just do what the spirits tell you, and it will be right. The idea is to ensure a good, sound and fruitful season of FM gaming. You will know if the dance is successful based on whether or not the game installs properly and activates without any major incidents.

2) Usually St Etienne, maybe Man City (coincidently my team), most likely one of the L1 "giants" (Norwich, Soton, Leeds, Charlton) or maybe even Newcastle.

3) They are all interesting challenges in their own right and you should be able to achieve to expectation with them. St Etienne are always my "CM/FM" Team - I like Green! and have a soft spot for them (if you are Fortysomething they are forever a European Giant to you)
