  1. Each year it's always the same pr answer "we'll fix it next game". And it never happens. I bet my house it will be still not fixed in the next game with the new engine, we'll just hear a different excuse
  2. Or the AI failed to properly implement turn over, for years now. It's the AI that have to adapt to the needs of the human players, not the other way round
  3. It wasn't buggy it was on purpose. Last year the injury rate was tweaked down in one of the patches because most players complained about injury ratio. Actually there has been injury issues in most FM and devs always fixed it by decreasing it. I'm 100% this time will be no different. Again if you want that to change, then they need to be upfront about it because a lot of people will not play the game with an increased amount of injuries.
  4. Compared to the injury rates of every other FM until now, it is. Again if they want to increase the rate as a "feature", they should let people know beforehand. Otherwise this is a bug and need to be fixed.
  5. It has been a thing for how many years exactly? And it's still not fixed, embarassing. So much for the "ultimate fm experience" lmao. FM24 has been a waste of money so far, nothing they promoted as main feature actually works (AI transfer and squad building still sucks, regen faces still sucks, AI talent building still sucks, regen quality and distribution still sucks) thank god i wised up and didn't preorder like i did last year.
  6. As i said i don't have a problem with it, i just want that if they decide for that they state it out loud beforehand so that i can avoid wasting 60€. Not sure why you are so triggered.
  7. Because i want to have fun while playing the game.
  8. As long they advertise it clearly beforehand so i can safely skip that edition...
  9. I've been expecting Serie D (Italy's 4th division) for like 15 years now...
  10. There will be definitely teams that will miss out on qualifying on the knockout stage if not failing the league completly. Rare thing, but it will happen. And let's not pretend that right now the top 2 of each group doesn't go on anyway, because 90% of the groups end up like that exactly. The Milan/Dortmund/Newcastle situation is the exception, not the rule (and it's not like Newcastle is an european glory in the first place lmao).
  11. An "exclusive" blog, fantastic. Even the information is locked now lmao. Well hopefully a good soul will post it somewhere or nothing i guess. This is one of the moments i wish there was an actual downvote button available somewhere.
  12. I truly hope they fixed the terrible AI growth in FM23. I'm glad they are making effort to see more young players getting game time (it was miserable being an international manager and see your young prospect warming the bench or rotting in the U23) and seeing squads and national sides of 30+ years players. But also i hope they fixed the lack of technical growth player have in FM23. You get a ton of beasts in terms of physical and mental attributes but a lot of players lack good technical abilities. The lack of crossing for natural full and wing backs have been a meme at this point.
  13. Completly disagree, talent is a gap you'll never cover even if you are an immortal being training for the rest of eternity.
  14. The best result is achieved by playing him regularly in your team. For example i've made a custom european superleague database and i started a save with a team from San Marino in the bottom division (division 8) using only players that accept to play for the San Marino NT (it's a build a nation save) and i've seen many getting huge boost to their CA, even tho they are playing far above their ability level. That is also due to your usually better coaching/training schedule compared to AI clubs. But of course playing a L1 worth player in your team may not be the best idea. In which case the second best option is to loan him out so he can play football close to his current ability. If your scout/assman tells you he's a good side for L1 teams, your best bet is loaning him there making sure you pick a side that will play him consistently and with decent training facilities. You can also try to see if a championship team is willing to give him first team opportunities, but be warned that if his average performance is low (below 6.5) that may hinder is progression, hence a loan in L1 may be a better idea.
  15. A true major feature. Ideally the complete rewamp of the AI squad building and transfer policies. Lacking this i'd be fine with a complete rewamp of international management. But knowing full well neither of those will happen (why rework these when they will scrap current engine next year?) i will save my money and will not purchase 24. I already regretted spending for 23, i won't make the same mistake again this november.
  16. Do you seriously trust SI's PR? I don't. Do you remember roughly one year ago how proud they were of FM23, the horrible face Miles posted on twitter that starter a media riot for the graphic issue (and strangely now they announce a graphic update for fm25...). Now we learn that they weren't really proud of what they sold (a defective and buggy product). I don't trust them one bit on FM24, if and when they release a curated product i may change my mind and, why not, purchase it. Otherwise i plan on skipping it without regrets.
  17. Because FM22 was FM21 with a couple small new features and FM23 was FM22 with a couple small (and buggy) new features. Heck player progression is worse in FM23 than in FM21. And since we should learn from the past and not ignore it, it's safe for me to assume to not expect anything out of FM24 other than a couple of new stuff and hopefully a proper bug fixing (will they finally fix player progression and regen's reputation growth next year? We'll know in a few months...). The core of their focus is FM25 and they aren't even trying to hide it. FM25 probably take so much work due to the rebuilding that they'll probably be super safe with 24 (a couple of features and mostly bug fixing of fm23). I'll be more than happy to be wrong and see FM24 as a great improvement for the series but i won't hold my breath. And for sure i won't purchase FM24 after the huge disappointment of 23 (i skipped 22 and went directly from 21 to 23 expecting improvements, it was actually the opposite fm21 plays better than 23) unless there are major upgrades (and for major i mean rework of transfer and squad building AI, rework of international management and stuff of this caliber, not certain save transfer and maybe an extra league or two licensed) and for FM25 it will depend on how buggy it will be (i bet it will be a bug infested mess at release)
  18. Interesting stuff, but there are two things that bugs me. 1) FM24 is likely not worth it, i honestly see no point in getting that one when we already know it will be FM23+ (which isn't saying much, in my experience FM23 is one of the worst in the series due to unresolved bugs like player's progression, transfer history bug, etc...) 2) FM25 looks interesting and they promised a lot of much needed graphicals improvement (finally...) but where is the real juice? I want to see a complete overhaul of a broken transfer and loan system, generally speaking a broken squad management from the AI, i want to see an actually interesting international management side, etc... A nice paint coat for graphics and UI and women's football (which i could care less if i'm being honest) are not enough arguments to convince me buying FM25. I'm aware they mentioned there will be other improvements, but until they say out loud they reworked those areas i'm not interested in spending more money in this series. I guess we'll see.
  19. 1) Absolutely can't recommend it 2) Pretty much the same 3) Nope, it was broken at the beginning and they put a bandaid but it's far from working properly.
  20. My database has only 1 game per week and i rotate every player that isn't match fit, so that's not it either.
  21. Training is in the hand of a solid assman. So if you blame the training schedule, you are blaming the default one SI made.
  22. Wasn't the injury issue supposed to be toned down in one of the recent patches? Because i'm literally seeing no changes. I honestly will simply starting using the ingame editor to fix injuries because this is beyond stupid and no other team in my league is anywhere near the amount i'm facing.
  23. Because it's actually useless. My excel sheet is 10 times better than that thing. And btw that shouldn't ever been an headline feature in the first place.
  24. If you field 11 Usain Bolt on the field you will get relegated irl, because running is nowhere near enough to play football you also need mental and technical qualities. So yes this is indeed a bug in my opinion. One thing is overachieving a bit, another is getting consistent CL football with a Championship quality (at best) team.
