G-Man11
Typical performance from us and the reason we're going down. Played decent enough but lapses at the back and a lack of cutting edge up front. Don't think Will Roberts has even touched the ball

BoroPhil
Cardiff 2-1 up At least there wasn't a moment when were in 6th place. Sickening end to the season, but we've only ourselves to blame. come back stronger next year

Weezer
When did pitch invasions become a completely acceptable part of the final game of the season?
Gizmo7
We weren't allowed to invade the pitch when we won League One a few seasons back. They said if we invaded the pitch then they wouldn't be awarded the trophy on the pitch.
Gizmo7
Harry Panayiotou!!! Get in
G-Man11
Saw one of our players blocked from leaving the pitch by that mob Even I didn't know who some of our players were today Really need some new players for next season.
Gizmo7
Steve Howard? His contract is up now and would do well in League One.
G-Man11
We already have Clive Platt for experienced big lump. Not sure where he was today, maybe we were just resting him? Would have been useful to add a bit of height into the side as Saints dwarfed us today (as would any team tbh), amazed they didn't play more long balls to Lambert tbh. When you have a 5'10 striker marking a big bruising CB from corners you're in trouble
av3ry
Well done Southampton. Coventry are going to struggle badly next season IMO. Have Coventry got a massive injury crisis or is there really a bad lack of squad depth in the team?

Kriss
The right two teams are up imo, I think they can both at least stay there with a bit of investment. My money is on Brum to join them.
Gizmo7
Yeah I think Birmingham will win the play-offs. I'll be supporting them too due to my dislike of the other
G-Man11
Brum do seem to have had a bit of a dip recently though. Think both them and West Ham are clearly ahead of Cardiff and Blackpool though.

Think both them and West Ham are clearly ahead of Cardiff and Blackpool though. Unbeaten in 9, dominated the supposed best team in the league today with the majority of our first team missing... Pretty awesome dip to be having
G-Man11
Yeah but a lot of them were draws!

I thought Coventry looked pretty good in spells of that game, just completely lacked anything remotely resembling a cutting edge.
SCIAG
Unbeaten in 9, dominated the supposed best team in the league today with the majority of our first team missing... Pretty awesome dip to be having Tbf a lot of our first team was missing too, no Cummings, Karacan, Kebe, Hunt or Roberts.
mcsheffreygreat
Yeah but a lot of them were draws! Well yeah, away to West Ham, Brighton, Ipswich... Hardly a dip
mcsheffreygreat
Tbf a lot of our first team was missing too, no Cummings, Karacan, Kebe, Hunt or Roberts. Yeah you could tell as well. Was your penalty justified by the way? Looked like a joke decision at our end. Thought the ref was awful.

Pretty awesome dip to be having Tbf a lot of our first team was missing too, no Cummings, Karacan, Kebe, Hunt or Roberts. Oh shut up both of you. Did you not see our team from today? I thought Coventry looked pretty good in spells of that game, just completely lacked anything remotely resembling a cutting edge. Story of our season. Though tbf today we did have a bunch of random youngsters. Was only going to be one-winner with our line-up. When we had all those corners early on just felt so pointless as Cranie was our only 6'0 + player with him at exactly 6'0.
Phil Holden
Pretty dire stuff at Turf Moor today. Only real entertaining part of the game was when James hurt himself and they had to put an outfield player in net. Everyone loves to see that, don't they? SCIAG
Yeah you could tell as well. Was your penalty justified by the way? Looked like a joke decision at our end. Thought the ref was awful. No idea. Seemed like we should have had one in the first half though so it balanced out, and we missed again. If we had Le Tissier or Lambert or Alexander to come on and take penalties we'd have an extra 6 or 7 points. Ian Harte's missed more in two years for us than the rest of his career ffs.
