The thinking is that it's the AI readjusting at the halfway stage of the season, normally when you are a smaller team who has overachieved and so they alter the way they play against you. First season I was top of Serie A with no signings at xmas- ended up 10th after a slump. Fair enough - was happy with that. Second season signed players to strengthen - top of the league again at xmas and slump in Dec/Jan. So this means knap's tactics are unreal but what can be done to avoid the slump? Thinking of a new save with Napoli - do I just play Warrior home and away or is it worth having Kashmir as back up? I sometimes feel like it isn't worth using the back up tactics with good teams? The explanation is that the AI will be more defensive against a higher rep team. IMO this is farcical as if this the case why not use defensive tactics all the time. In fact the AI tend to already use defensive tactics from the start so not sure they could be more defensive. These tests also showed that results were linked to reputation, and under dog teams out perform top teams. It is interesting to note that Norwich can git 82Pts but MU may struggle to get 85 pts. CF has automatic dribbling instruction but I think Werghost (CF) / Ginczek (poacer) because the poacer sometimes runs behind the defense but also the automatic individual instructions of the roles confuse me. knap Posted October 3, 2020 Author Share Posted October 3, 2020 @arble I don't find it a problem, as you are just trying towin the ball back early. I played a game the other day and scred 5 with 10 men, so even a red is not a problem. If you want to manage cards make a decision in the match, if too many cards take it off or reduce the players on a yellow..
