Completely right, our main European tactic only uses one striker, and the two best outfielders at the club both play upfront. We didn't really turn up against Spartak and definitely didn't away at Besiktas, but we did recover well to end the group with three straight draws. That Playoff game, though... 31 shots, with 7 CCCs and 6 half chances... missed every single one. They go and break away, score their only proper chance of the game, and dump us out the league playoffs. Bedese Posted July 15, 2017 Author Share Posted July 15, 2017 And that's why I hate the Europa Playoffs I was hoping to make it five straight Europa Groups, because that should have sorted our coefficient out to the point where we'd have always been seeded for the CL Third Qualifying Round, essentially meaning almost automatic qualification for the Europa Groups every year. He's already 3* CA though, so he may not be able to grow much more... but that CB problem we had is well and truly solved now We now also have a replacement for the disappointing Fabrizio Selva (YP65a). 20 flair is... interesting, but he looks like he could be quite good. I decided we had enough money to start investing in them, basically If I get offered the NT job, I'll think about taking it, but for now I'm happy to leave them to their own devices while we focus on making that breakthrough in Europe.
