did liverpool ever move or update anfield?

Anfield was increased to 55000 in 2018. They moved to the 94015 all seater Kaczmarek Stadium in 2043. It was named after the German Midfielder Grzrgorz Kaczmarek joined from Ajax for £19.75M and made 453 appearances for Liverpool between 2018 and 2032 scoring 68 goals.

Well that's the kind of elitist attitude that has got football where it is today. It's about time that the governing bodies instituted a club salary cap so that the smaller clubs can compete. It has been done in the rugby super league and now that competition is much more competative. Maybe the new FIFA rulings on admission to the Euro comps depending on wether the club can balance it's books will help in the top tournaments but it needs to be done at domestic level. The likes of Man City, Chelsea etc. would be royally screwed. Not a West Ham fan are you by any chance, they don't appear to like Wigan for some reason lol

MM! the quote didn't work. Never mind you know who you are :)

Haha! Love it.

By the way, how's my faithful Peterborough United doing? :D

Not good. Consistantly Championship up to 2026/27 then successive relegation through Div 1 and Div 2 into the BSN. They then bounced between Conf/Div 2 until 2035 when they went down to the BSN. After that they dropped further(out of the game) for a couple of chunks of time. Last seen in the BSN in 2066/67. Judging by the fact they haven't entered the FA Trophy for a few seasons, they are in non league abyss!

Jesus, I know they're bad in real life, but not that bad!

Ipswich? THANKS :)

After a brief dip into League 1(where they won the JPT), it's been all Championship and plenty of Premier League for Ipswich. No higher than 7th though.

3 League Cup wins, nowt special in the resultant Euro campaigns.

And the mighty Cardiff City too if you please?

Any additions to their legends or icons or stadium changes?

Thanks in advance :)

It's all Championship for Cardiff. No lower and a few trips up to the Premier League. 4 FA Cup wins but no further than the Euro group stage.

5 Legends listed as Phil Dwyer, Fred Keenor, Jeff Hendrick, Luke Johnson & Enzo Perrin. 20 other icons listed. No stadium changes

brilliant thread. hows burnley doing? Marvin Bartley and Martin Paterson too

Nothing but the Championship and Div 1 for Burnley. Only cup was the JPT in 2061

Neither player in game anymore. You get Big Sam as manager in 2018.

what about Cambridge? How have they done over the years?

I'm assuming you mean United.

Hopping in and out of the league up until 2040 when they suddenly became amazing. BSP to Championship in 6 seasons. By 2057 they were in the Premier League and bar a couple of brief relegations, have been there ever since.

League Cup winners in 2073, FA Cup winners in 2075. FA Trophy winners twice. Three visit to EURO cup, most recent got to first knockout stage. Ave crowd around 17000

One to watch when I prolong the save.

Hahaha can't believe hastings have broken into the league, they're in turmoil atm

can you tell us a bit more about their progress please?

They appeared in the BSS in 1951/52 and worked up to Div 2 by 1962/63. They have since dropped down a level. No notable success in any other comps.

West Ham, thanks :)

After some early success in the Premier League, they nose dived into non-league. They then woke up in 2042 but have only recovered to be a Div 1/Championship side.

No trophys of note. Even had Upton Park reduced to just over 25K.

Can't look through them all but here are a few all steaters in the Chamionship

Gloucester - 10340

AFC Telford - 20030

Colwyn Bay - 12674

Dover - 9857

Newport County - 17276

Wrexham - 15500

All that time, and eventual promotion to the Championship, and Wrexham are still playing in the same capacity stadium? Unbelievable!

Top, top thread by the way.

"Wigan to drop down to Blue Square North by 2048"

Good. I dislike Wigan. Apologies to all Wigan fans out there, but your club just annoys me as they rarely bring anything to the Premier League (my opinion).

Hmm...so you must dislike a lot of other clubs in the premier league that have always finished out of the bottom 3 but yet struggle to challenge for any of the European places - there are quite a few! Shame you don't appreciate that every club has their own history and we're simply making ours 50-odd years after the rest of 99% of the current football league teams. Give us a Lordy chance and perhaps a small amount of credit for trying to be a well-run family club that has held their own against the big boys for 7 consecutive seasons in the Premier League.

Good luck to the Grecians this season. I was sorry to see Cureton leave you in the summer.

Anything exciting about Luton? Hope we've won something and not stuck in the BSP forever! Thanks.

A good start followed by lots of promotion & relegation. League 1 by 2016, BSP in 2023, Lge 1 in 2030. No joy from 2043 when positions slowly dropped down until 2061 which saw ten season switch between the Conf North/South. Successive promotions back to Lge 2 since then which is where you've stopped and brings us up to date.

1 JPT win in in 2033 and 4 FA Trophy wins

Brilliant thread. What happened to Wayne Rooney?

Rooney played out his career with Utd until he hung up his boots in 2023. He made 527 appearances and scored 251 goals. He then became a youth coach at Bolton for a season before going back to old trafford where he stayed in the same role until 2052. Retired age 66. World player of the year twice.

how are QPR doing?

Consistantly Prem/Champ up until 2045, spending about 2 or 3 seasons in each before switching again. Then 21 straight seasons in the Championship before relegation. Another drop in 2072 see them move to their current league of league 2.

FA Cup won in 2014, League Cup in 2051. Not further than group stage in Euro Cup. Steve Bruce to take over in December this year.

How are Plymouth Argyle doing please. Wonder who took over as manager from the caretaker?

League 2 until 2020 then 24 seasons in League 1. Championship between 2049 and 2054 before many more Lge 1 seasons. In recent seasons they are back in the Championship.

No Trophys, just a couple of JPT finals. Titus Bramble is a future manager.

how is celtic doing mate, who is managing them, any european glory ect

Celtic had a great start league wise. Between 2017 and 2041 they only failed to take the title 5 times. Not so good since then though. A few more titles but mainly Rangers and Aberdeen.

Champions league wise they never got past the first knockout phase, most failing in the groups. A couple of Euro Cup quarter finals. Lennon resigned in 2015.

You do realise you can now look at the past histories of other competitions now, Trent? Just click on whatever competition name (assuming its one thats one of the 'default' leagues) and it should pop up with the past winners. Assuming its FM 12, that is.
