timpino Posted January 10, 2011 Share Posted January 10, 2011 Bummer on the no Squad Numbers Hopefully it will come in the iPad version Another nifty few things I thought about: 1) Increasing the number of saves? could it be possible to squeeze in 1 or 2 extra slots? 2) Possibility of saving your tactics for reuse? Currently I use like 3 or 4 tactics (about what my limited mind can be bothered to remember) but I would like to be able to use a few more, even just having 3-4 slots for saving tactics would be awesome for the games where you know you have to chase a goal or maybe park the bus, instead of switching to another formation and going thru all the motions again and then switching back and going thru all the motions again... 3) Possibility of saving "your" profile. What I do before chosing a team to manage is I decide which league to start in and then I go looking for a club that suits my ideas (pref a team with respectable or lower expectations) What I have to do now is reload the game every time and entering my name, scrolling all the way down to Swedish and then confirm. Maybe have it in the prefs. Like Preset Manager: Rudolf Redbeard and then when the game loads up you have the option of taping a small button and it autofills your name and nationality and goes to team selection. 4) Some sort of automatic clearing or filling of the shortlist would be nice, like I set up a filter of every player in my shortlist over the age of 30 should be removed and poof they are gone. Same with filling, say I want to add 30 players to my shortlist because I'm looking for a keeper, once I have a nifty selection in the player search could there be an option to bang them into the shortlist? This might cause too much button clutter though. Did I mention saving shortlists? I must have Having the option of saying alright these are all prospects and I wanna save them but let me clear the shortlist and start looking for a prime age striker. having the option to save 1 or 2 shortlists would be great Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

It will be hell on the small screen (iPhone/iPod), I don't see the advantage of give my goalkeeper shirt nr. 1 and my attack nr. 9 - it really doesn't add that much to my gameplay experience or have I missed something? If they get put in then cool but if not I don't think I'd be that bothered. It would only be a superficial addition in my opinion. I could certainly think of a fair few things that I'd prefer to see:- * more detailed/specific information on scout reports (strengths/weaknesses, etc) * match previews (to see the weather BEFORE starting the game and an indication of what formation the opposition might play) * More things to post to Twitter plus Facebook support. * League graphs Etc, etc Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I totally agree, everybody has there own opinion - which is great, even when they disagree with me. Makes life more fun And I can understand why some want it, I just can't understand why it's the most important thing missing. As some have pointed out, stuff like (in no specific order): * Better scout reports - more info * Team report - your best squad and maybe 2nd best, not just your best 3 guys * Hire better staff - don't know if it's possible already * Make custom tactics - 1 of the things I miss most * Possible to save tactics etc Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Hi Marc,do think it's possible to have team talks include in the game along with better scout reports(more info in gud free kick takers etc..) and also a homescreen with upcoming fixtures etc.. I'm currently playing a game with Athletic Bilbao, and am finding it VERY tedious to locate Basque players. My only option (other than locating/reviewing every Spanish/French newgen) appears to be selecting "interested only" to filter them out, but that doesn't catch all Basque players in the game (i.e., Xavi Alonso). Can this please be implemented? (Let me say that I LOVE the fact that the cantera/Basque-only policy is implemented this time around. Makes them a truly challenging, fun save to play. Seems like this at the mo has no effect on morale, just a little ! next to their name. The loan/transfer ability for players in reserves would be very handy, instead of having to move them to the 1st team. More detailed manager history, eg what cup won and when. A little press release from the player who is returning from a loan (or from assistant manager) to say whether it was worthwhile and perhaps what areas of his game (if any) have improved. We're on good form at the moment, so long as we keep picking up points then it won't matter what form you lot have I'm interested to see how our new winger gets on - if he's class (which by all accounts he is) then I think we'll keep ticking over, the loss of Lua Lua was a big blow though - but we've a pretty solid squad and I'm really chuffed at how we're playing these days ... long may it continue. Keify Posted January 14, 2011 Share Posted January 14, 2011 Rotate +1 As well as being able to rotate 180 degrees, I've always thought it would be cool if when you rotated it 90 degrees (into portrait) it changed the screen to a dashboard/screen saver thing with the current time and battery level. Maybe the current song title/artist if you have music playing.That way you could check these things by simply rotating your device rather than having to exit the game or go to the manual. Would love to see support for Retina Display too +1. 2 further suggestions: 1) While playing in the 2nd leg of a cup tie, at the live score screen, can we please have aggregate scores displayed? 2) Can we have a preview screen of future matches, from the fixtures screen? I think this will be useful especially say if a player is banned for the next European match 2 games away, so you would think to use him in your next match which is a domestic game. I'm thinking specifically of McSheffrey in my Coventry game - I think he'd play well on the left as an inside forward I was just a bit worried it would be too attacking. Less so now you've said that It worked ... he scored nearly five times more goals in my second season although his assists were down a little. My defensive record wasn't great though playing 442 attacking. Have the board handle the details. I'm the manager - it's not my job to haggle over numbers. I should just put a player on the transfer list and then when the bidding clubs are done with their haggling, show me the final offer(s) and let me say yes or no. And make it fair so that we don't ALWAYS sell a 5m player for 4m and buy a 5m player for 11m. 4) Add link to tactics on team page. 5) Reserve games! Don't need to see a fixture list or anything but just have it so players in the reserve squad are playing games and getting some experience - albeit less than if they played in the first team. 6) Make it so we can loan/sell reserve players. I didn’t even know this wasn't possible but others are saying it's not. It shouldn't matter which list my players are in - they all play for my club. 7) Make swapping players less fiddly. 8) Finances! Yeah I know this requires big changes but if we could have some simple finances tied in with stadium size that would be amazing. 9) Anything to make it easier to increase stadium capacity or move to a new stadium. I love having a big stadium! Often I don't take over a small club because I feel like however long I play they'll never get a big stadium/income. This is a handheld game. We should be able to take over AFC Wimbledon with a sugar daddy and have them playing in an 80,000 stadium in 20 years if we do an amazing job as their manager. Ok maybe slight exaggeration but you get my point. 10) As others have said, increase career length. You could make it 50 years and still have it be realistic-ish. 50 would be awesome (says the guy who never made it past about 7 but probably will on itouch as it's so quick). 11. Make the board more appreciative! When my Napoli side are 2nd in the league the board shouldn't just be "satisfied". This is a game! If I wanna be under-appreciated I can go talk to my boss at work. This is what I have found, If you player is valued at say 30mil, list him and offer him out at 9 mil, you'll get an offer around 10mil for him, negotiate it up to 26 - 28 and they'll come back with an offer of that for him Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I like too see some more new features if thats possible off course: * The possibility to give players 'man marking'. (Some times the striker of the opponent is in great form and score 2 times i wish i can give him man marking so maybe i can stop him from scoring more goals against me). * More interacting with the players. (An example: If we lead the game with 3-0 in the 89 minute and a player get a red card for a really harsh tackle i think its stupid and i like to tell him i don't like the way he get the red card .) * Team talks. (I know not everybody is happy too see this feature in the game. But i think it is a good thing because if you play against a lower league club and in half time you still have a 0-0 on the score i like to say to my team i want a win here no matter what to encourage my players. And if you don't like it you can leave the team talks too you assistant manager). * Some more interacting with the media. I know you try too do everything too satisfy everyone. But i hope you can get some off these features in the game. I like too see what you think about the ideas. I hope the first update come very soon . Now i get back too my AFC Wimbledon game. If I have a MC and a AM/C, and I want to know how a third player I want to give some games to compares to the MC, the scout report will often compare him to the AM. Not sure if that's clear, but generally it would be great if you could ask the scout report specifically 'compare player X and Y' and also be able to ask 'compare X and Y for position A.' Make sense?
