So this is my very first attempt at hosting an FM challenge, but those of you who gives me a chance to prove my worth as host will NOT be disappointed It is a non-participation thread, but I would really appreciate it if whoever signs up are also willing to comment frequently to keep the thread alive. I've already tested this for ten season straight, without a single problem. This... is The Hollywood Big Screen Elimination Challenge!! How? It's fairly simple really... You create your very own 16-year old player based on a male character from ANY movie or television series in history. Remember, a character, not an actor. You then fill out the template with the character's name, birthday, country etc, and here you can chose to be either realistic and have them hail from their real home country, or just come up with everything yourself. All players will be starting as free agents, and from there it'll be interesting to follow their careers and see if they'll become the next big thing, or the next screw up. The challenge will run similarly to other challenges. Each player will be assigned a CA of 80-100 and a PA of either -8, -9 or -10 (Both CA and PA will be randomly drawn). The players will earn points, and then at the end of every period (the length of each period will be decided and revealed when the game thread is posted) someone will be eliminated from the challenge. Points are given for numerous of different things such as matches, MOMs, goals, awards, transfers, transfer fees, wages, etc. But if you want to become the next big thing, just like many things in life it won't come easy. So choose your character wisely, because stuff like nationality, position etc can make a big difference. And also, remember that if you pick someone with a Non-EU nationality and your players decides for a transfer to a European club before he turns 18, it could mean that he won't be eligible for first team matches until he turns 18, and that could easily result in your player getting eliminated fairly quickly. I will upload the big leagues from every single European country that has a player from our challenge in it, plus some of the other big ones. And remember... For your player not to be eliminated, he needs minutes on the field regularly. Format There will (hopefully) be 35 entrants. Eliminations will happen every six months to begin with, with two eliminations happening at a time. When there's five players left, the next two eliminations will happen once a time with a year between. And when Top 3 will be cut down to Last Player Standing, the third place and the runner up will be eliminated every 18 months. In the end there will be only one, and after a 20 year long career that player can call himself the last Hollywood Big Screen Elimination Challenge Last Man Standing!!
