  1. Lewandowski can play in another if he wants to, can't believe Poland will have a better option in three and a half years
  2. So for the final, ITV haven't bothered with having anyone in their studio who has actually played in one.
  3. They're certainly not celebrating like it's meaningless, definitely see getting third as important
  4. The Saka one, yes it's a foul, but you get plenty of them missed in a match. It's very questionable whether VAR should go back that far to disallow someone knocking in a shot from outside the box. The Kane one, I think is probably a penalty but I've not really seen a conclusive view to show it's inside the box.
  5. Basically Netherlands only attacked when they had no other option and then went back to not offering much during extra time. Argentina definitely deserved to go through. The ref deserves to go home.
  6. Morata should start every game for Spain, he's not perfect but at least he looks like he's attempting to score.
  7. The ref has missed a couple of pretty blatant fouls and given Boufal a completely imaginary one, I've not been particularly impressed. Spain seem like they might be starting to get going.
  8. Simon is quite lucky the second goal is so controversial, it's taking attention away from him being terrible on the equaliser.
  9. I can't really see Spain not going through, they're looking good. Totally agree that Germany aren't a foregone conclusion.
  10. 4 minutes was nowhere near enough and then added nothing extra for there being a sub during injury time.
  11. The offside is very tight and dubious, the contact looks to be verging on non-existant for the foul though.
  12. It doesn't make a difference, but I'm struggling to work out how that's offside under the current rules.
  13. For the record, the ref hasn't made a decision on the handball. He gives a free kick for the Danish bloke in front (number 7) who shoves a Tunisian over first.
  14. Can Rudy Giuliani practice law over here? He seems the right lawyer for that sort of endeavour.
  15. @PMLF already suggested they weren't that fussed in Brazil, can't see why that wouldn't hold for most of South America.
  16. I couldn't agree more with all of this. In a modern democracy the reasons for not having a monarchy aren't really anything to do with the individuals. The only real reason based on individuals that I think is a valid point relates to Andrew really, and that's just because it exemplifies the fact they are not accountable in a way normal people are and don't show any signs of changing on that front.
