They aren't going to get quality players for £4m and if that's all we had we should be scouring Europe for a decent loan signing or two. We may aswell re-sign Owen if our budget is so low. The players we have got rid of have been either ageing and/or players signed for silly money on ridiculous wages. Rodgers has done the best thing in getting rid of them.
