Greece beaten 0-2 by Saudi Arabia, I'll change this to another list if someone can find a better one.

Times are Brazilian times as I have taken the list from Soccerway which shows times based on someone's IP.

Argentina have one friendly. Against Haiti. Seems a bit of a waste of a friendly slot.

It's just to say good bye to their fans in Argentina.

The waste is not playing that friendly but rather not playing any others when there are plenty of dates available.

Friendlies at this point don't need to be against good teams anyway.

Quite a few of these on your obscure TV channels which is good news, and bet365 might livestream a few on their "In Play with Ray" thing.

That Iran v Uzbekistan the other night was 1-0 Iran if you are updating the OP with the scores :)

I have now updated it.

Doesn’t need to be a good team but Argentina have no idea what their best formation or strike force is. This game won’t exactly answer any questions.

Not even that expensive.

Should be a good game.

I think Dalić will try Brozović-Rakitić midfield.
Modrić plays higher up for the NT and so far Badelj was the holding midfielder next to Rakitić, but if Brozović can keep his form from the past couple of months, that's a scary trio.

Rebić should get a chance up front on the opposite wing of Perišić. With Mandžukić in the middle, that's some incredible amount of running and physical presence from the front 3.
Kramarić is the other option, Dalić really likes him, but he's not really a winger or a lone no9. Wrong system.

Egypt trailing 1-0 in Kuwait after 15 minutes.  No sign of Wigan's Sam Morsy in the starting eleven for Egypt.  Needs to do something in the friendlies if he gets a chance otherwise he may be trimmed from the final squad.

A few of today’s friendlies are on bet365 live streamed, just need an account on there with some money in it

7.15 Turkey v Iran

7.45 Italy v Saudi Arabia

7.45 Portugal v Tunisia

Thought the Saudis would want a proper test before the WC to be honest, not one of these tinpot countries that haven’t even qualified.

Should be Benfica CB Rúben Dias' first cap. Meanwhile I think we're also without Ronaldo since he played Saturday in the CL final.

Nah, that was never the problem. He always looked like a very intelligent, tactically sound player.
But one of those guys who completely lacked ability to shoot. Or finish anything.

That's a good description of him. He's ****ing great running the game in midfield. But he's not a finisher at all.

We're far too soft in defence but 2-2 is harsh. Tunisia's 2nd came out of nowhere. Slightly worrying though, at the moment it feels like anyone can easily score against us.

How did Tunisia look?

Was this a foot off the pedal situation or what?

Tunisia were surprisingly positive with the ball at their feet, building from the back etc, but just not enough talent to execute it consistently, they constantly lost the ball back to us. I only watched from the end of the 1st half when it was already 2-1, but their 2nd goal came out of nowhere in a set piece.

We looked off our best game in our 2nd half, too many subs, soft in defence, not coordinated enough in attack. But this isn't the first friendly that goes wrong, the Netherlands(!) smashed us, we were losing to Egypt until minute 92 (only to win 2-1 with 2 injury time Ronaldo goals), so we're starting to build a negative pattern lately which is a little concerning.

Not sure if we in England are in danger of underestimating Tunisia.  Nobody seems to be talking about them yet and if you look down their squad list they don't really have any standout players from any big club sides.  But they are 14th in the world at the moment, which is their highest ever FIFA ranking apparently and makes them the best ranked African side by miles.

To be honest they didn't look impressive at all. They have decent technique like all north africans do but lack that extra quality top teams have.

They did score 2 goals from 3 chances, though.

To qualify for the World Cup they beat Mauritania in a play off then topped a group with Guinea, Libya and DRC.

Hardly outstanding quality there

Draw with them opening game, only beat Panama 2-0 (whilst Tunisa lose to Belgium by one goal) and go into last game knowing we need a result in case Tunisa beat Panama and have a better H2H.

That would be typical England. End up losing and scraping through because Tunisa beat Panama only 1-0 :D
