I think ALT+F9 was working fine for me post update, although going back through my screenshots, does look like random ones are missing.

EDIT: Think it's time for me to move to something more specialised than my ALT+F9, resize screenshot, upload screenshot...zzzz. Downloaded Greenshot, which can do all that all in. Maybe it's a "good" thing. Only bad thing is that I've probably missed a lot of screenshots from seasons past now.

Who is playing FMC?

Most career updates are people playing the full fat version, do any of you guys have more than one save going?

Technically I have loads saved on a "you never know basis", It's very unlikely I will ever play most of them again but right now I don't really need to delete them, I only really have 2 saves that I will be playing and those are my current FMC15 game and my Stopsley game on FM10. I was going to restart that game on a later addition (12 or 15) no point going to 13 or 14 as I can't really say that I enjoyed those to a great extent anyway and 12 is my second favourite addition but didn't play it a lot because of still being so hooked at the time on my FM10 game.

Also another question, do you watch games in 2D or 3D? I have always watched in 3D and though 10 and 12 have their flaws I can stomach them ok but 13, 14 and 15 just make me want to smash something, I have switched to watching matches in 2D with goal highlights in 3D and I have to say I have enjoyed the game much more, still a lot of swearing going on but that's part of football anyway.:)

I have never tried FMC. I have just one save going. I have never really been able to switch between saves or have more than one going. Sometimes i wish i could especially when things aren't going well in my main save.

Until the end of FM13 honestly i was a commentary only kind of player. I have no reason why and to fair i look back now and wonder why i played years like it. I cannot answer that either, the best i come up with is that i played the way that got me through a season the quickest.

With FM14 i struggled with tactics massively at the start and then moved to watching goals only in 3D. I felt the step up into more advanced highlights wold be too much to consume in one go. I then encountered the opposite to you. I would see goal after goal going seemingly against me from silly angles, crosses or terrible defenders just standing still. Obviously it wasn't just going against me, i was getting my fair share of horror goals but it isn't what the mind remembers.

So with that i stepped up to watching highlights in 'Comprehensive' for the regular season games and 'Extended' for preseason. Since then my tactical side of the game has taken off and it is something i have never ever bothered with before. I would pick the best XI based on Stars and be done with it. Now i am planning for games weeks in advance, sad to some i have excel open while playing making notes on opposition, certain managers and players. The swap from commentary to 3D highlights has almost created a brand new game for me, i play it so different to two years ago. I find it no coincidence that last year's version saw me have my best save, my first ever one club save and pretty much become a dreaded 'fanboy' of FM14. Yes the game has flaws but staying clear of GD on here in the last two versions have meant that i don't actually notice that many bugs or supposed 'gamebreakers'.

Rest assured, swearing occurs on a very regular basis during my saves too but at least you can understand the reasoning behind, unlike the Mrs who thinks i'm a loser for playing this and getting so involved in it. But thinks there is nothing wrong with her sat on the Sim's when i'm watching football.

Pot. Kettle. Black.

(Disclaimer: I've had several beers before this post)

I wonder if I'm alone, but does anybody else have the type of save where they take a club from complete obscurity to becoming the biggest club in the world, yet they can't either (a) bring themselves to leave the club or (b) bring themselves to start a new career? I've tried several times to get into new save, but I can't seem to leave Norway... we've now won 7 Champions Leagues and 14 league titles, so I should be bored out of my mind... and yet...

I had that last year with my Cambridge save. After retiring on top of the game (we had just won our 3rd consecutive Champions League) for the remaining 4 months until FM15 came out i just couldn't settle on a save. I tried and failed about six different careers but normally within two seasons i had lost all enthusiasm and just craved mt Cambridge save again. Within a week of FM15 coming out i threw myself into a new save hoping to recreated the same feelings i had with the previous save and so far i am loving it. Won sod all in seven seasons, onto my 6th club and a prolific failure in the Play Off's but the save has my attention and a little bit of my love. Although the recent temptation to leave Forest Green to join Cambridge almost became too much!

It must be said I'm still playing 13, so maybe that's it. I guess another option I could try is to go back to Ukraine or something, really enjoy trying to usurp Shakhtar, failing that I might have to just deliberately delete my save to force me to move on... kind of like deleting an old girlfriend's number from your phone...

We'll see what happens over the next few days.

Imagine seeing your team score five goals, of which you got three and subsequently took the match ball, and then still losing by a 2:1 conceded:scored ratio :D Mental.

The Vitesse player with the hat-trick would have to nick the ball from the Ajax player who bagged 4 though.:p

I'm still playing on 15.1.4, was put off after reading about some issues with the latest patch.

I have been spending far too much time in the GD, too many wannabe mods in there and anyway I need to spend more time updating and playing my game which I am enjoying despite the fact I wanted to smash my screen the other night when playing Chelsea, we were on a poor run and well that result sucked, anyway I soon calmed down and we had a great result in the next game.:)

Also Spurs will gain revenge in real life for that defeat by beating Chelsea in the Capital One Cup Final.

Hello everyone!

I played for a long time in England for Lowestoft.

Starts the game in Vanarama Eng. D6.

The result came out team in English Premier Lig.

In FM 11,12,13,14 i always gave achievement "English hero". And in FM 15 steam dont give me this achievement.

Although I will be playing the first match with Liverpool((

Who knows how to solve this problem?

Sorry for the text, I live in Russia, we have nothing to eat here because of the sanctions((( and the level of education awful(((

Merry Christmas!!!

  • 3 weeks later...

Hi guys! It has been a while since I've posted here. How is everyone?

I've recently installed FM15 and I'm looking to get stuck into a save. I've had some major FM cravings recently having not really played properly since FM13.

I've just been customising the game and getting it set up to my liking. Seems that there is more and more of that to do every time I get a new copy of FM these days!

Not sure whether I'm going to try for a one club game starting at the lowest level or go for a career game. I was tempted by a Big Euro Challenge attempt in Italy as I've always had fun managing there. However, I'm also considering a career game instead as I think sometimes it's more fun to be able to get sacked or jump ship in a save. I really don't fancy managing in England though as I think I've done too much of that in the past.

So how is the game this year guys? I didn't really get into FM14 but then I didn't really give it a chance. Think I burnt myself out on FM but I'm ready to give FM15 a proper chance now I've had a break.

After a slow start with me, I didn't like FM15 at first, I am now hooked and feel it is a lot better than recent versions. If you start slowly Crouchy, stick with it and I promise you will be hooked once more.

From memory, why don't you revisit your Italian idea of a few FM's ago? I recall you were enjoying life with a former non league team until the tax bug came to light. Italy should prove fun, especially as Serie C2 doesn't exist anymore.

Otherwise, I am loving my career save. Either way, I am looking forward to a new Crouchy thread on here! :D

Is anyone else finding FM15 a lot easier than previous editions?

It depends, I must say that managing championship teams or higher is pretty easy. With a decent team and enough tactics training it's easy to make them win top leagues.

But I saw that i struggled much more when managing smaller teams, who are less professional, than in FM14 or 13... In some aspects it got a bit harder in others a bit easier...:p

Hey Daz. Cheers for the reply.

I'll take your advice and start slowly!

I'm quite tempted by Italy as I've always enjoyed playing there. I remember on CM03/04 having the most epic save with Cremonese working up through the divisions and becoming a top European side. Ever since then I've always had a certain level of nostalgia for playing in Italy and I've had some great adventures (especially with Hellas Verona). So maybe I'm off to Italy again!

Although, having said that, I'm also quite tempted by a career game maybe starting in Sweden. I've always meant to have a proper game in Sweden as it seems fun. Also, a career game appeals as you don't get stuck at one club and you are free to jump ship if things become stale.

One thing is for sure, I'm really off the idea of managing in England! I've done it too much in the past and it really isn't appealing to go there again right now.

Will have to have a think about which option would get me hooked on a save. I don't get as much time to play these days thanks to having a one-year-old daughter to look after. Also, I got into playing some other games like Paradox Grand Strategy (CKII and EUIV). Back in the day, FM was my primary game and I didn't really play much else. I was also a post-graduate student and had way more free time to play. Probably a good thing that it's different these days as I think I more or less burnt myself out on FM back then! :D

Cremonese are my all time favourite Italian side. They are listed as one of my favourite clubs on my manager profile in game. :D

Sweden is fun to manager. Four tiers too, so will take a while to get anywhere. I started in Iceland - somewhere different and fresh so to speak, a bit like Sweden for you.

I know your love for Paradox - I share it and we have had many discussions on Steam about it. It is because of you that I sub to Arumba & Quill18 on YouTube! :D

Hi there, it's been a long time since I've been on this forum, I had to sign up again as I can't find my old account.

I first started playing the game on the amiga when it was champ manager all the way upto FM09.

I stopped playing for a number of reasons but I won't bore you all with the details.

Anyway, I had some spare time on my hands and DL'd the demo to see had much it had changed, I've got to say the detail is immense.

After a couple of evenings tinkering I became hooked and have ordered the full game.

So, I plan to start a new career as Nottingham Forest and concentrate on upgrading their whole youth set-up and facilities.

I want the club to develop their own players and hope they will be at the club for their whole career.

I'd also like the players to be English but will settle for a British squad and try to enforce the old 3 foreigner rule.

I'm posting here because I'm thinking of starting my own thread for the career.

Any thoughts and comments are welcome. Thanks

If I was you, I would head into the Good Player & Team Guide section of the forum. There is a Nottingham Forest thread in there as well as a Looking For thread which is the best place to post for the players you're looking for.
