Demichelis and Mahseredjian are good fitness coaches (5*,4.5*)

Tony Whelan is 4* attacking, set pieces, ball control.

Paul McGuinness is 4.5* ball control.

Warren Joyce is 4* defending.

Mark Beeney is 4* tactics.

I still can't find a 4-5* attacking or shooting coach (Tony Whelan is doing set pieces).

Has anyone worked out the * system yet?

In previous years there has been a formula to determine how many stars a coach would get for a particular coaching discipline (ie. attacking, shooting, defending etc).

i always like to scrap most of my staff and as it is a real pain i would like to know who you would suggest in each area coaches, youth coaches etc to get as many stars in training as possible and the best scouts too, any help appreciated

In case you wanted the FM09 thread, seeing as you're talking about a 7* schedule and FM10 has a 5* (well, 10* if you include the half stars) system;

This guy is legendary on FM09 :)

Just signed him on FM10 for Man City as a Coach, he didn't have a club at the end of 2nd season. And was down as a Manager, wasn't interested in a Ass. Man role, but wanted to be a coach :) I'm happy with that.

Start of 3rd season with Ipswich and I have mostly 4 and 4,5 star coaches.

Tony Colbert = 5 star fitness, costs me £4k pw.

Damian Roden - 4.5 start fitness, costs me £3.5k pw

David Lowe = 4.5 star attacking, costs me £2.5k pw.

Hope those help?

Anyone got anymore 5 star coaches, seems we don't know too many in FM10?

I would have an awesome staff but there's a slight problem. I have no cash and the staff that I want would mean me paying compensation.

My advice for people in this position would be to look for staff who are unemployed. Some of these are actually quite good but if you have the cash then go for the more obvious coaches.
