Anyone recommend an Assistant Manager for Everton in my second season?

Ive currently got Steve Round but was wondering if there was anyone better for the job. I usually put my AM as the reserve team manager and the under18s as well but might get a seperate under 18 manager

thanks

I'm not sure if I should put this here but I'd like to know what's the secret of getting 5 star coaches (or more)? I was looking for an attacking coach then and after I sign this coach with has an attacking coaching of 20, he turned out to be a 3 star coach. So my question is how do we determine that he's a 5 star coach? Aside from his coaching capability? Through reputation? Need your advice on this. Thanks.

He might be well-known but I have to highlight him anyway. In my opinion easily the best scout of the game:

Zinedine Zidane

19 in Judging PA and Dicipline.

18 in Adaptability and Determination.

16 in Judging CA.

Just so efficient, I swear he finished assignments in about a quarter of the time of any other scouts I have (which are all world-class). I've set him to scout World and he started out in Africa. Despite having no previous knowledge of the entire continent he's just racing through it...

At only 38 years old I'm sure his own PA is much higher so he'll probably end up being an excellent Coach/Manager.

As he starts out with Real Madrid he wont come to every team obviously, and his wage demands are £10k/w or more... Well worth it, there's only one Zidane pure legend even as staff! :D

so are there no 5 star coaches in positions othe rthan fitness and GK?

In my save, there are only coaches with 5 stars in Fitness, GK and Shooting (only one coach, he works for M.U).

4,5 are rare too, less than 5 for each type of trainings, some there aren't, namely Set pieces.

he was at madrid for 1 Euro p/w! I signed him for 1000 p/w and he's a 4 star ball control coach. will send him out scouting too now.

Happened to me as well, I presumed it was a bug so I offered him £10k/w... On a £1000/w he's very easily poached by the big clubs, so you should offer him a new contract with higher wages mate...

You're right, Madrid came sniffing a year later so I offered him a 10k p/w and all is good :)

is he good as an assistant manager ?

Bernhard Peters is a decent assman, but his tactical knowledge is low, so he often disagrees with other coaches on who to close down or mark, and rarely has ingame tactical recommendations. When Real Madrid came in and signed him as a coach, i didnt counter offer, but instead signed Rosario Di Vincenzo, and he's much better with the tactical recommendations.

Id say the important stats you really need are: Discipline, Man Management,Tactical Knowledge, JPA and JPP and Working with youngsters. I tend to use the assmann as a backup coach in every category, so he sees all my players training, and generally not to train any specific category. Most of my other coaches are based off the Motivation/Determination/Discipline/AREA(ie atk, def, tac, teq) in order to get at least 4 stars.

I totally agree. Got Bernhard as an assman and let him take some of the friendly matches. Some of my first team players end up having "SIT" cos they feel the manager not giving enough credit and are considering their futures . So I quickly took back control, re-contract him as a coach instead and now looking for another assman. Maybe considering to promote Martin Keown from first team coach.

how important is the man management stat in regards to an assman ive just signed an assman called ezio sella who has excellent stats in all areas except man management. also discovered a youth coach called werner kern who would make a good assman as well.
