I'm not sure it's really the case though, they spent about £50m last summer and already £20m this summer. I don't know what their in-game budgets are though... Only in FM... Ferdinand is over the hill by a long way both irl and in the game imo and is more happy moaning about people and life in general on twitter these days. As for Fletcher well he is on the long term sick list and isn't likely to play anytime soon and will probably have to hang up his boots soon due to his illness. EVERYBODY i want costs over 50 million including ganso, lucas moura etc. fellaini wants more wages then i can offer. etc etc. the ingame budgets seem to be lower then the RL ones, and the players cost more then the RL ones. On my file I have a budget of 160million + but that's cos I sold Vidic, Evra, Rooney, Evans (etc) when they get old and don't buy anyone else because of the youth system.
