When you add a new manager, if they're below a certain age (25 iirc) the age is raised to 30 immediately. A 12 year old would never get a job.

Under 25's have to use a false DOB because the game doesn't allow managers of 24 and below, the person is now 25 (I think) so football manager now allows them to put their real Date of Birth into the game and play as the manager

I'm actually starting my game proper after holidaying to June 1. Not to avoid getting my age raised a year early but I must admit it appeals to me on a very minor level avoiding the change and keeping my actual date as a minor plus on the side.

I was dreading this when it comes, now thanks to you lot I know when the day comes I'm going to the pub!
