Welcome back to yet another year with Japan and the J.League. (CHANGELOG IN POST 2/3)

The J.League IS BACK  bigger and better than last year!

REMEMBER!!!!! TO READ THE FAQ

WHAT IS INCLUDED:

-FM23 converted players/staff database from 15th of November update of nearly 9000 players/staff(AND 2023 Beta Transfers) (NO MORE DUPLICATES)

-FM23 converted referees/media/updated reputations and sponserships

-All REGIONAL CLUBS HAVE CLUB HISTORIES, LEAGUE DATA AND COMPETITION DATA 

-FM23 and beyond planned and being built stadiums/finances and debt

-J.Elite and J.Youth Leagues as well as Multiple Youth Competitions

-Japan Football League Expansion and Other Surprises many years into the future

-Realistic You Regens, Realistic Finances and REALISTIC TEAMS (only teams that have youth teams have youth recruitment etc)

WHAT WON'T BE INCLUDED AT LAUNCH:

-FM23 2022/23 Season Data (Appereances and Attribute updates (New season starts in February)

-FM23 2023 J1-3 Season Kits and JFL Season Kits (Will be updated as these Kits become availiable)

WHAT WONT BE UPDATED:

-Regional 1 and 2 Kits (I will add in new teams) due to this taking too much time. (THEY ARE ALREADY IN FOR 2022 TEAMS)

FAQ:

THERE ARE 4 FILES-

-Players and Staff (Adds in all the players and staff)(Updated to transfers for the 2023 season whilst we wait for karins 2022 data)

-Referees (Referees)

-SIMPLE (For those who are only interested in having Japan in the game)(Down to JFL but has all the youth competitions)

-The normal file (I.E FM2023 March) This goes all the waaaay down to the prefectural leagues, althouth the prefectural leagues are not 100% accurate, all pro/relegation rules are.

-The only bug with this database is that you can't ADD/REMOVE leagues in japan without the next season missing fixtures(ADVANCED ONLY),

NOTE:

ANYTHING not listed under discord only is allowed to be hosted on other sites provided I am notified. Discord only files CAN and WILL ONLY be hosted by me due to agreements I have with the JFA. this is specifically for the Facepack and Adboards (I will have them set so that it only works in Japan, to not interfere with SI's Vision). Those who do not abide by this will be subdugated to investigation and probably I will be unable to release graphics packs publicaly. 

CREDITS:

KARIN, A year 3 Med student who translates JStats (The main place where all J.League data is gathered) and translates that to realistic attributes.

@Daveincid, Who makes the REALISM database, for without it, REALISM is only a dream.

@DaveTheEditor, best known for his around the world database in which Japan has always been compatitble with

@Zachary Whyte,Thanks to which I was able to use the editor this year instead of waiting for an update

UPDATE MARCH:

NEW: -Club histories added for all J1-Regional 2 Teams for 2022. New Data added to new Regional Teams. Okinawa SV, FC Ise Shima, Porvenir Asuka, Vajra Okayama, R.S.G, Kajiki SC, SHichinohe SC, Atsugi Hayabusa, Sakai Trinitas, A.S. Jamineiro, Azalee Iida, Toyama N-Style, Gakunan F Mosuperio, SS Izu

NEW: Structure changes for all leagues. J1-2-3 from 2024 will have 20 Teams, J2 and 3 will have promotion/relegation playoffs introduced and relegation to JFL. 

NEW: U18 teams not in a league (90 Teams) were added to one and a new CLub Youth Tournament was added (Town Cup) for all U18 teams outside of the J.League

 

BUGFIXES:

-Contract bug fixes have been fixed

-Administration and FFP have been fixed.

-AFC Champions league qualification has been fixed

-National Regional Leagues CHampions League 2nd Place teams qualifying for the final round have been fixed.

-Scheduling should be fixed.

-Duplicated Competition and League entries are fixed.

-2 New U18 Youth Teams have been added and so those teams are J.League eligible. FC Basara Hyogo and Reilac Shiga (MIO Biwako Shiga).

-Kagura Shimane from the JFL have been triple relegated due to bankruptcy and being uneligible to register for the regional leagues.

Will be on the discord since im pretty sure they cant be posted here AFAIK. the problem is I wanna create my own skin but i got no idea how to and would pay someone to create one for me. for the Japan fix, I am not sure what lines need to be added to add them, but in most cases doing right click on panels (club info etc) instead of left click will give you the set of options for Japan. 

If the scoreboard becomes moddable I will work that into it as well. Everything graphical should work on release as the guys at SI have gone above and beyond this year to pretty much fix everything I have requested that they do, and I am confident the Editor will work fine meaning everything should be ready to go on about the 10th as I have to spend a day doing the league system again and another to re-enter club statistics since I was dumb enough to create the whole system before saving instead of saving just after adding the data meaning I should copy it from scratch to make sure the least amount of possible bugs are present. 

As the J3 league looks 95% certain to add in promotion/relegation from next season as 2nd and 3rd in the JFL are promotion elegible this means I finally dont have to deal with flexible rules (the only thing in the editor that can cause incorrect pro/relegation bugs). 

for real names/national team players you all need to install a name fix or licensing fix (quick google search or the discord will have the info required)

If anyone has any feature requests or anything just let me know and I will see what i can do

meaning the 2023 update (the one with all 2022 stats implemented for all players and transfers for the 2023 season will be done by then. the current file from 2022 has been converted for the meantime like in previous years

Hi Robbles Quin..

the last extension for FM22 was the best i see for J-league in all FM versions, really appreciate your work there and personally i can't wait for it. but only problem was.. if u can this year if u can put all regions tournaments under one level (not all showing in game setup) .. and it seems very strange to see many vacancies for those teams.. they didn't appoint a manager either during the whole game :D

what about prizes? are u okay with them? i tried one yesterday, included those:

Can do, What I have done is spent the past 24-40 hours, adding in all 2022 league and club histories for J1-JFL then 2022 League and Club histories to Regional 1 and 2 and added in whole histories for new teams (including those for 2023).

the next thing I did was adjust Attendances for J1-2-3 as they seem like they were last updated before 2019 to include current attendences (+-15-30%) to account for the upcoming post covid era. Then I have added in 2022 ticket prices and sponserships and adjusted reputations.

I am now adding in Prefectural 1 teams that are not present in the database and then any U18/High school teams in the first 3 levels (Takamado Premier,Prince and Prefectural Teams). Then I can actually copy over the structure and make needed changes to systems.

To answer your question, Regional 1 and 2 competitions are already under 1 league then split into their respective competitions to allow them to win their respective leagues.

For Prefectural, This is pretty much impossible since the editor allows up to 26 groups and there are 47 Prefectures in Japan meaning realiostically I cant have it in one league. and ESPECIALLY since each regional prefectural tournament is very different it is much easier splitting it into the 9 regions. from a scouting perscpective if you are in the prefectural leagues it makes much more sense if you were stuck only scouting your and those leagues around you instead of the whole nation at that level.

For cup competitions I can do a better job at picking what level each competition is playable at.

update: Some guy decided to take out group rules in the editor which makes it really annoying to get stuff done. expect this to take a little longer

this means regional 1,2,prefectural or any group competition can't be done at the moment

Oh no :( Are you going to do a first release with just J1 to JFL before diving into that?

they both have kits. maybe their ID  changed ill have a look. Iwate is in J3 for 2023 and Iwate is now in J2

It's not Iwate, it's Iwaki. Next season, that will change. "Iwate Gruja Morioka" will be promoted to J3, and "Iwaki FC" will be promoted to J2.

oops typo! i know! Iwaki is in J2 for 2023 and Iwate (Morioka) has been relegated. along with JFL promotions from FC Osaka and Nara Club. This means 2023 J3 will have pro/relegation with the JFL

never got back to me so im creating one myself. it will be on the discord though since licensing and all that. I will have an update or release sometime today or tommorow

it is already much stabler that last year and theres so much more in it. im just adding in 2022 league/cup histories and league histories for the 14 to be new regional 1/2 teams then fix the 20 japanese players that tranfered to europe since july (so that players like Daizen Maeda will be at celtic etc) and then I will upload.

not yet. I am away from the house for 3-4 hours. just didnt want more peolpe running into problems from the 12 that downloaded it. Its an easy fix though. I normerlly work with the advanced file so I ddint think to check whether the simple one would behave like that. It is literally the same except thatyou cant play below the JFL

Ah ok, so J1, J2 and J3 work ok?

And promotions are ok from JFL into the J leagues?
