What are the chances of finding another Pelé? Probably one in a Brazillion.

That intake is ridiculous love it.

Hopefully they can prove their worth with us staying in Serie B.

Now why would a 6'2 white goalkeeper be nicknamed after Garrincha... other than that this is an amazing intake, don't tell your chairman though!

For irony's sake? :D

Some powerful names in that intake.

Hopefully they leave a lasting impression.

I don't see any Brazilian newgens with bizarrely plain English names like Fred or Bernard.

I want to see some impossibly flair-y, razzle dazzle Mezzala pop up named Tim, or Frank.

There is Clinty in this intake :D

The y adds just a touch of sparkle.

Clinty Freitas Barboza, but we'll call him Clinty Eastwoody.

bc9dc8940fae9a8baccd80f68e6c6e35.pngWhat's the best thing to do when you play so many games in Brazil? Schedule over a month with no football smack-bang in the middle of the season, 30 league games now in 18 weeks I think.

Maybe so that everyone can enjoy watching WC 22 ?

I don't know if anyone has commented on this but the club name "Sousa" is rather hilarious for me, as that's the most common Portuguese surname. It's a bit like having a club called "Smith" or "Jones".

Amazing :D Smith with the nickname of Dinosaur.

Thats because the town they're from is called Sousa which was named after the portuguese town of Sousa in Felgueiras (I passed by the place a few times when I was living in Portugal). But yeah its pretty funny :D

And the reason for the dinosaur is the town's main attraction https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Valley_of_the_Dinosaurs,_Paraíba

Anyway, nice progress holding on to the Serie B

Any chance you could move states sometime in the future, that State Championship is gonna get boring as your team gets better. :D

I think the State Championship will be my favourite part once we're dominant and fighting for continental trophies, thats when I can start thinking about having a striker get 1000 goals :D

I'd understand if I was in a rubbish league...like the Scottish 8th tier, but this is Serie B, the 3rd highest reputation league in South America! Hopefully this guy becomes a monster!

He's already on the way, damn near perfect attribute balance for a DM.

That's awesome! Hail to Erllymax! Expecting a bid from either Barcelona or Real Madrid to come through any moment now though.

He turned 15 just 2 months ago, he'll be gone without playing a game for us.

Holy s**t!

That name though. Really rolls of the tongue with ease...
