[FM18] What do you call genetically modified corn? I suppose it's still corn-ish.

Yes I apologise it's another career. I've really struggled to become attached to any clubs so I'm heading back to England, or more specifically Cornwall. Last FM I spent some time managing Porthleven but now with @Dan BHTFC adding in the Trelawny leagues I'm going to go a bit lower, down to the 13th tier to St. Buryan or the Trelawny Premier League. Why St. Buryan? Well, I like 'geographically challenged' places let's say, and St. Buryan FC is the closest club to Land's End.

And why Cornwall? Well, Truro are the best side in Cornwall and they're currently in the Vanarama South promotion playoff spots and I don't think there are any other Cornish sides above the 10th tier. Also, just this season alone 4 teams in the Trelawny League have had to fold due to a lack of players and with Cornwall being a fair distance away from anywhere else in the country (Devon have Plymouth Argyle and Exeter City) It would cost quite a lot of money to travel outside the county so Cornish clubs struggle in affording the step up.

I am well aware that the level 22 file has issues but even if this does get lost to a crash dump I will be restarting as St. Buryan once the full file is out, in a test save I'd holidayed until the 3rd season with no problems at all.

We have no players so I'll sign up all these greys to make do until the youth candidates come through.

And what a difference a month makes, from 2nd we're now down to 9th with 4 losses from 4. On the plus side our best striker who broke his ankle in the 1st pre-season game should be back from injury very soon, hopefully we'll see Gareth Tewkesbury among the scorers very soon.

So... is that your football field? You're playing in a cemetery? I knew Cornwall football was sort of dead but that seems a bit extreme.

Good luck! I give you 3 days to reach the Premiership. ;)

We're right next to the smaller of the village's 2 cemeteries, the other one being at the church in the heart of the village. Thanks! I'm afraid I won't quite make those targets you've set out.

Don't think I've ever seen a save in a league in which I've played, for a team of which I have played against!
Good Luck though!

I recently started a save with Falmouth Town, got them from Level 10 to Level 7 at the moment, started struggling in the Southern Premier League now though!

There is a bizarre amount of teams named Saint in that league. Sounds like the Vatican championship.

Hopefully we can keep the amount of cards down or else we'll be the sinners of the league.

That's awesome! :D I'm really hoping that when the database is complete and released that someone will make a logo pack for this! How many seasons in are you?

Defeat to Halsetown but on the whole it was a very good month and we move up a couple more places to 6th.

5 players have left us, Archie made 6 appearances for the 1st team and 9 appearances with 3 goals for our reserves in the Trelawny 3rd Division, Jammal made 15 appearances for the 1st team, Kallum made 7 appearances for the reserves, Steve made 3 appearances for the 1st team and 4 for the reserves and Rory made 16 appearances for the 1st team as well as 4 for the reserves.

Playing away to 2nd and 3rd and it couldn't have gone much worse really yet somehow all the teams around us are playing horribly and we're still in 6th!

A last day win saw us finish up in 5th but still 11 points behind 4th placed Halsetown! Next season I'll aim for another top half finish.

In my fifth season now! First season it was Plymouth Argyle Reserves that stopped me from going up, but after that I have finished 1st each season, until now, currently 17th in the Southern Premier

Strange, Plymouth Argyle Reserves won the league last season scoring 117 and conceding 5 but Tavistock who finished 2nd were promoted and Plymouth Reserves were moved to the Western League Division One, so they're still a 10th tier side.

I certainly don't care if you have a lot of saves if you can continue coming up with interesting ideas like this one. Good luck!

Cheers Marc!

...Teams can get relegated from the 22nd tier?

Thanks Minuy, no they can't.  Crawley United II showed up as relegated since their 1st team were relegated to the bottom tier and are now doing worse than the reserves are.

Whlie the football may be dross, the banter is top tier at Crawley United, that I guarantee.

For some reason in my database they can go up to the 9th Tier but thats it, although I finished above them in the 9th Tier!
